I'm saying rip a toeside, spin 180, rip another toeside, all at speed. So, finish the toeside turn normally, start the edge change normally, but instead of setting the heelside edge, you spin the board 180 and set the toeside edge. I think caspercarver has performed the maneuver you describe in one of his videos, but heelside: Start watching at 4:05 ... he pulls it off very gracefully.
