The CarveFather! King of Quadriceps!

Ron, I have a video request. I used to be able to do this, haven't tried in years but it was fun. I want to see you do a big toeside carve forwards to big toeside carve fakie. That should be some good eye candy. You're the man for the mission. This message will self destruct in 5...

Falling leaf?

Haha, sorry I didn't explain that well. No, falling leaf kills all momentum. I'm saying rip a toeside, spin 180, rip another toeside, all at speed. So, finish the toeside turn normally, start the edge change normally, but instead of setting the heelside edge, you spin the board 180 and set the toeside edge.

For a goofy, the toeside-to-toeside 180 spin is clockwise (viewed from above). For a regular, counter-clockwise.

I think caspercarver has performed the maneuver you describe in one of his videos, but heelside:

Start watching at 4:05 ... he pulls it off very gracefully.

I rode with Ron a few weeks ago at hunter and my quads were KILLING me after trying his compressed stance for a few runs.
