skategoat
Do you pack it in? Or do you try to steer around the crowds and bumps? I found my 174cm Prior with the 11.5 meter radius to be too much board this weekend. I was at Bristol Mountain and it got crowded. By noon, all the runs had mounds of loose, semi-moguls. I was really getting knocked around and tired. And too many people on the slopes to do any relaxed carving. I found I was fighting the turning radius, trying to do tight slalom turns. I'm thinking seriously about buying some skiis for those kinds of afternoons.
Mike T
... along with unexpected low visbility are two reasons why I often stash my softie setup in the car. I've experienced both coming out of nowhere all too often at Mount Hood!
Gecko
There is always an hour or so spent in the Onsen to lossen up those trashed out muscles...oh yeah y'all don't have Onsens Truthfully I go fine a nice green circle and practice slow carves
mirror70
I bring out my super short 153cm Speedster SL when it gets crowded. With its 8m sidecut, even mogul fields become great carving terrain.
outsider
two words- people slalom note: skitips make great gates, but you cant take em super tight because there are legs attached to them...

jtslalom
I bring out the RennTiger 153 and make tight slalom carves. If this doesn't work I go home.
skategoat
I switched to my soft setup on Sunday afternoon and hated the vague, skiddy feeling. I think I'll buy some slalom skiis so I can hit the bumps and avoid the people.
Neil Gendzwill
Why not just learn to ride the bumps? I loves me some bumps.

It has a small enough sidecut radius (around 9m) for those quick turns and it carves excellent.
