  1. You can try www.parcelinternational.com. I have used them several times to send boards from the netherlands to the usa. They are international orientated.
  2. Have been riding my new green RC10 Virus boots with custommade softfoam Boot Doc liners with Bomber Intec heels for two days, locked in frontboot as straight as possible, backboot unlocked. Set up with also new Virus Powerlock III Intec bindings flat in the front binding and about 2 cm of lift in the backbinding: angles 84 front, 78 in the back. Virus Black Death III so called 'Slayer' version, custom made footbeds. Socks: boot doc compression socks (knee high). Conclusion: very natural feel with freecarvingstyle of riding, no snow or ice in the boots (I wear my pants always over the two top bootbuckles), some shinpain on my right shin (I am regular): I think due to unlocked boot and I didn't close my two topbuckles on the tightest the first day. All and all: very happy with the boot due to more dynamic and natural feel than my Deeluxe boots I have (I have both white and red 700 version boots). I will use these RC10 Virus boots only with my small Virus boards with intecbindings. I will keep using my Deeluxe 700 red with Strolz liners for my JJA raceboards because those boots are stiffer. Just experienced that the stiffer the boot, the more control you have in pushing your boots in riding racestyle (just my 2 cents). RC10: fit, enough room for my toes, I always have problems to close the buckle over the midfoot, here also due to high forefoot. Has nothing to do with the boot. Will try them on with standard liners within two weeks to experience the difference in fit with my custom liners. Like the springsystem of the boot very much. No need to change this system. I can ride 3 degrees less steeper angles due to shorter solelength in comparison with my Deeluxe (both mondo 27).
  3. Good news this great magazine will come out again. Would like to read more articles about riding technique. Race style as freecarve.
  4. Since I let made custom foamed liners, I feel comfy in my Deeluxe (Strolz liner) as my new Upz rc10 (Bootdoc liner), as my feet are different in length as in volume.
  5. JJA Cypress 163 with interface. Incredible edgehold and easy to switch from sides. Big or small turns, it's a keeper, no doubt about that.
  6. You need to use some strength and as before said, widen it by bending. No need to use tools, you will damage your boot. I have already replaced my topstraps a few times because of breakage. Mostly my topstraps broke because I used too much force to open up my boottongue and didn't bent it away from the straps.
  7. Good to hear you like them. I will go out with them too for the first time this weekend ( I only rode Deeluxe/Raichle too). Can't go wrong because mine are green
  8. Liquid Rubber by Bison was gone within 3 days of use on my Levelgloves. I now use Sikaflex 252 or my russian gloves from Rey which lasted the longest I have.
  9. You can pm me with your email address and you can get all the info you want. cheers, Hans.

  11. dito here, those boards are keepers for the long term
  12. I have relatively thin calves and at the beginning of the season I use Shintronics to fill up the gap. After two days I can leave the Shintronics out. I have shinbang because of a weak spot on my right leg/shin because of a bacterial disease some years ago at that spot and will always stay a weak spot. May be it works for you too. www.manoove.com
  13. Bobby, good to hear it worked out great. I will have to wait till I get out for my first experience with green UPZ's.
  14. Here you can get them: http://www.yyzcanuck.com/store/Parts/?page=5
  15. Only plastic seen so far. But if yours are sloppy, I should swap for new blocks. Will cost less than 'repairing' a leg injury or worse.
  16. You're right, I use CNC standards for my raceboards (which don't have the adjuster either) because of moderate angles and the need of some lateral flex (which I don't need on my small Virus Boards).
  17. Those blocks/brackets are prone to breakage so now and then from that brand of bindings. Looking at the colors they have some couple of years behind. Instead I've bought the F2 CNC which are out of metal so I don't need to check. So the tip is to check them after/before each ride. And I should unscrew the whole binding before each season to look for cracks in the plastic. I wouldn't dare to ride these with my weight (88 kgs) and ridingstyle and type of boards. Those front sliders including bails can be bought seperately.
  18. Good luck, but you're 0 - 1 behind: wrong color, green is the fastest color

    board lenght

You can't compare a Mercedes to an Opel, you already have a tip top Oxess for less than eur 500. Even the world cup slalom of this brand is accessible to start with forva snowboarder or skier with some experience. Of course if you have less money to spend, you can start with other brands. It's just my opinion that brands like Oxess gives more board for the buck in the long term.

    board lenght

Since you are living in Madrid, Europe, and the slopes are not that very wide in Spain, I would recommend a board that is turny to start with. Radius between 8 and 12 meters at the most. Width of the board and angles: since you have a big size mondo I should pick a board with over 20 cm width. Length of the board: not important since we have board manufacturers here in Europe that even make boards of 180 with a 12 meter radius. Try to contact Oxess, they have rather nice boards that you can buy with a discount (they aren't new, but those are pricable boards and worth the money), they are very predictable to ride, even for a new guy in alpine snowboarding. Speak to Marcel the owner. Another option is a wider Virus board, try ebay.de for possibilities. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me through my profile. Welcome to hardbootland! 21. Boring (argument) one board can't do it all, at least two or three boards.
  22. Man, that is very nice, didn't know Bruce came up with that texalium topsheet possibility. Congrats with the new board, what is the glacier you are on? Stubai?
  23. Never has any boot fit at once. When i bought my second 700 (white) ones i first bought a custom foamed liner from Strolz with footbeds. Never have a complaint since than. i just bought new 2013/14 Upz virus rc10 just out of curiosity. This friday i will get some foamed liners in there too: Bootdocs. I will never wait till my feet hurts with this sport anymore, had too much pain earlier. So i will buy foamed liners directly in new hardboots.
  24. Pokkis can you make the pics a little bigger especially from that nice black one! Love that animal pic, can't see the other pics on the board what it is.
