  1. Edge Works at 10th and Broadway in denver did 2 sweet tunes on my doneks right before ses, I am really happy with the job Matt did and would not hesitate to send any one their way. The also had a quick 2 day turn around.

In the interest of full disclosure, he did give me 2 tunes for the price of one, but that does not effect my opinion on the quality and service I got from them

  2. Had a similar incident with an instructor about a month ago. Our paths were convergeing, so I turned uphill to duck behind him at the same time he turned downhill to duck behind me... and BLAMMO!! glad I was wearing a helmet, for I dove for the snow and whacked my hugh mellon on his knee. No damage to either party, but kind of ironic since we were both trying to avoid each other.

  3. Loveland yesterday was a bit on the firm side, but would probably qualify as hero snow to an icecoaster. I had to adjust a little, but definately fine carving. Forecast for the rest of the week is for really cold temps at the higher elevations with a chance of snow all week.

  4. From DIA, assuming clear roads, good weather, light traffic and 70 mph:

    Eldora and Loveland 1:15

    Winter Park 1:30

A-Basin 1:25 if pass is clear, 1:40 through tunnel

    Keystone 1:30

    Breck 1:40

    Copper 1:30

    Vail 1:45

    Steamboat 3:00

    Beaver Creek 2:00

    Aspen 3:30

all the above times are approximations, you're actual time may vary.

  5. The heel pads that came with my suzukas were very soft, and my foot would wiggle around a bit when just standing around even after making my bindings super tight. I changed out the stock pads for the bomber urethane and have not had that problem since. It was a very comforting investment.
