Lift 6 at Lovie? A good place to have some fun. PCogan, big mario and I are typically there on weekends. big mario and I are typically on our Tankers (him - plates on a 187W, me - softies on a 182) when the conditions are on the soft side. Give us a holler if you see us. big mario is easy to spot, he's a bigman, in a yellow jacket, always singing Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer".

I think im going to write a nasty letter to the IDIOT news casters at the local stations, coudlnt forecast the weather if they looked out the FREAKING WINDOW!!
I thought the forcast was a little over the top. Go to the noaa site, you can get a gridpoint forecast for your favorite resort. They were right on this weekend for loveland. Even had some blue skies for carving. The snow is coming, it is just a little late in getting here.

I have a locking fiberglass tonneau cover on my f-150, it works really well, out of sight, out of mind. And it looks cool too.

We were supposed to ride together at loveland, but he hasn't contacted me.
I should have gotten contact info from him when I gave him mine. I will let you know if he gets in touch.

I heard somethong that really blew my mind today, The Damned's Alone Again Or.... as muzak. That is just so wrong!! I can almost forgive Iggy for the carnival cruise stuff, but damn, it seems soooo wrong . I am curious, has hearing songs from your youth selling goods and services or being rearranged into bland background noise make youfeel like this: ?

Bola was on his at loveland today in some pretty decent pow. He was tearing it up pretty seriously. We have had alot of snow out here in the last few days, and bola was floating right on top of it. I was also, but I was on my 187 helicat tanker. We were discussing the merits of the two boards, (the dupraz is cooler looking, according to a telemark skier putting his .02 in) and bola informed me that he will have a few to demo at ses. He had on caveat: do not load the nose, it does not like it. My take is that it is a cool looking good preforming board, but if you have a manly physique(over 200lbs)
you may want to try before you buy. There is a video and a reveiw of the duprez over at hardbooter.com

I love this board, It carves, it floats, and it doesn't try to emulate a submarine when it breaks through wind blown crust. Too bad I didn't have a real powder day to ride it today. I'm sure I will get the chance soon enough.

1993 palmer disco pimp with simms asym bindings. I still have that ugly a$$

Yo MikeT and Mario (and anybody else for that matter):
I'll be driving up Tuesday evening so I will also need a room Tuesday-Friday night. I plan on driving back Saturday sometime.
Think we could upgrade to something a little bigger with three people (and possibly a fourth)?
Don't know if it helps having a car there but since I'm driving I'll have room for 3 + boards or 4 people w/o boards if needed. My RSX is not comfortable by any means but it gets the job done...
Let me know what you think?
I also am at the st. moritz, wed thru fri, so you might want to try it. can't beat 46 bucks a night.

I carve and come here to get away from that. I will stay away from those discussions, and I think this is a sad devolpement.

Steve,
My point was not that it is acceptable behaviour, but more in the vein of the "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" cliches. I am not a bode apologist, I just think we are a little quick to condemn, thats all.

I have to ride on weekends, and even with the overflow lots full there is plenty of room to rip, especially over at chair 8. When it dumps, 8 and the ridge are outstanding. It takes me 50 minutes from I-70 and federal when the roads are clear. On the weekends, sunday is the day to go. The weather
can be a little rugged, I've been up there with -30 degree wind chills in January, not for the faint of heart. There are 5 to 10 other hardbooters up there, give us a shout.
