  1. Indeed, sale pending! Its like pulling teeth letting these go, but I'll not be on the hill nearly as much this year. Get em while they are hot, or before I come to my senses!
  2. The 200 coiler, swallow tail, f2 and split board are sold.
  3. I was talking everything from east coast "dust" to Utah snorkel.
  4. Updated with the pending sales (awaiting payment). The shorter boards are great deals for young racers or free carvers looking for a moderate length board. Those Priors will make you a better rider (they did for me!).
  5. I think it will depend on the boot- I think these go up to a 31-32 ?
  6. My biding set up is a little different then most- I keep the front foot pretty well at the same angle regardless of board width and modify the rear set up. It seems like the best balance (for me) between keeping the riding ergonomics the same between boards and still keeping pressure to the edge. One pair of boots for GS boards and swallowtails!
  7. Oops- sorry about that. I told you I didn't want to sell it $250- I was 175-185 and pushed it hard. I love that board. I'd say 200 would be fine- 250 depends on how hard you push it and what you consider "stiff" riding. I forgot to say all prices are before shipping- but i only charge whatever your preferred carrier charges me.
  8. What bail broke? I may have some available.
  9. Clearing out some of the quiver! I'm listing a group shot of the boards and bindings, but individual shots and descriptions can be found at flickr. Email me for more info! eestlund at gmail dot com. Boards (not including the bindings, which are listed below): 141 Mistral Pace- Good kid board $50 Sold (pending payment) 155 Prior WCR (white)- Only a few days on the hill! $125 155 Prior WCR (red)- Great board, signs of use. $100 162 Hot Shine- My teaching board for less then a season. $100 177 Voile Mtn Gun- The stiff original with Voile-modified plates for alpine angles, custom riser/ cants and Catek direct-mount bails. Top sheet has a few scuffs, but the base is n great shape. Only 5 or so quick trips before I left Utah. Includes skins- $400 SOLD 177 F2 Speedster- Less then 10 days on the hill. $200 SOLD 185(?) Rossignol Undertaker- Top sheet got scratched when stored with skis, but in overall good shape. I'd keep it if I still lived in SLC- $200 SOLD 186 Coiler Pure Race- The best damn snowboard I have ever ridden. WCC. Well loved, but with lots of vert left. Sale Pending 200cm Coiler custom AM "The Head Hunter"- Custom big board quiver killer, but the bum knee has a hard time with big boards these days. 10 days (MAX) on the hill, but some top sheet marks and one scratch on the base. Never ground! $500- Bryan, you get first crack at this one! SOLD Bindings- all of these have metal base plates: Bomber TD1's with 0/3 plates $125 Rossi branded Emery(?) bindings with $80 Oxygen branded Snowpro's $100 Catek long WC- 1pr left. If I end up keeping the Coiler these will stay. $150 Thanks for looking!

    Oes 2008!

Looking forward to this, thanks Mike! Hope the new "old" knee is up to it, and that I can get up to practice a bit before the event! Hey Ryan, please shoot me a PM re: boot parts. I talked to one of your ski guys and he seemed a little perplexed by my want of buckles (though very nice and desperatly tried to be helpful). Had i known there was an alpine rider on staff...
  11. I have a Comp II 165 with the burton plates from the time (scary!- thanks PSR!). I was taking out to ride a board older then my students (high school kids now- makes you feel old, eh?). Crap, it sure rides like you would expect a board from 1989 to. Still, I took it on some 40 deg plus steep tree runs in 2 ft of fresh last year. More action then old girl had seen in some time. I like the shape, and wouldn't mind trying one with, well, a different construction. That and the inserts are rather close (and in constant danger of ripping out).
  12. Like I said, lazy f!uck :D Updates: Burton FP SOLD Bomber TD1's SOLD Hot Shine STILL AVAILABLE. I'm in no real hurry to move it, but can have it delivered in the lower 48 for $115. Other locals, ask for a shipping quote. I'm in Eugene, OR. Green and happy, though with less in town snow then could be nice. If you pick it up, I'll go $100 even!
  13. Yup- but I'm a lazy f!ck. I think the bindings are sold, but if not I'll toss up two new adds.
  14. Bringing this one back from the dead! I'm in OR (Eugene), and will be shipping from here. Also available for local pick up.
  15. D-H-L Domestic or international, it has been the most consistent and cheapest for me by far (with the highest quality service). Check em out, you will probably be surprised.
  16. Are you sure thats not an insert problem? I have seen bindings rip from the board due to both, and the bindings usually involve blowing up (the boards pulled or stripped inserts, something I did to my Supermodel 6 years ago).
  17. "Redesigned, reshaped, and rebuilt" I think it was the shape that I liked last time.
  18. Donek: 182 Kirchoff, 29.50 waist, 10.35m sidecut and a $630 price tag. Or the 180 Tucker, with a longer sidecut but a bit narrower waist. Either way, let Sean know how big you are and he'll do right by ya.
  19. Those swallows look itsy bitsy for swallows, but the TT looks like a lot of fun. Can't understand a damn thing about the board, but I did find the spec sheet (after way to much looking, its right there in the menu bar). Just looked up the price. 144900 yen is about $1250 . I think I'd opt for bringing a Dupraz with me and eating out a bit more.
  20. I'm assuming these are long gone, but if they are still around, shoot me an email.

    Good footbed

The Soles don't have any posting or build up, and seemed to really roll under arches. I think for that money I would rather get a Superfeet or Down Under (which ever fits your arch better). Big fan of Surefoot for a bump up.
  22. Demo, demo, demo. This is only really an issue if you are looking at two of eactly the same deck, ie: WCR and WCR w/ roundtail. There are to many other variables across makers, sizes, flex patterns, side cuts, etc.
