I was looking for those heel, toe plates and I found other Burton stuff as well. See if there is anything you need and make a reasonable offer that makes them worth my time packing and shipping.

so if they are the same, I might actually have a extra full pair of heel and toe plates somewhere in my closet. Don't hold me on it,..but I will look them up and put up a picture here. Another Q :Raichle heel and toe plates wouldn't fit Burton boots?

I was in Val D'Isere last week. Only saw about 6 other people on hard-boots there. No shops in Val had any hard-boot kit at all (I was even told by some guy to try the museum). Tignes was the same. I'm shocked. I used to go to those resorts (mostly Tignes and Val Thorens) in 98, 99 and 2000 and hardbooters were all over the place. what happened to them?

I still dig my virus tantalus very much but I keep my eyes open for developments and upgrades elsewhere as well. So I am waiting for the reviews and feedback on olympic upgrades in the doneks and the double titanium/cabon metal in new priors (In fact I couldn't wait for the latter and already ordered one).

911 turbo vs viper That's easy...give them very long and straight road and viper will lead. put them on curvy roads and viper will be behind big time. The chasis of viper is from the stone ages...it's all in the engine. Now, put a 911 GT3 instead of the 911 turbo...and it will eat both vette and viper on both curvy and straight lines... then again,...I maybe wrong as I usually am according to someone else :D

must admit I am looking into the Lotus too. Though I am not sure how radical the changes are between the Elise and Exige? I heard it's just cosmetic....if so...an Elise will do just fine for me. I'd say Lotus is the real carver on the road

what I noticed was that the corvette takes off on the straight line...but in the corners,..the lotus gains a lot of ground back,....

hmm...nice looking cateks ...say around 200$ for the bindings....that leaves 221$ for the board. I'd say 50 to 75$ above the 'value' for the board. not that outrageous.... but then again, who and what sets the real value? I scratch my head too when I see almost new madds sell on ebay for the low 300$. supply and demand? don't know..

This looks like bended inwards, I mean towards the boot but I maybe wrong. If it's bended inwards indeed, then I have a hard time understanding how this could have happened as a result of riding. Anyways, why don't you contact catek directly?

Kipstar: But the video you hardbooter guys came out with...'it can't be done it can't be done' - if you acted like that in Thailand you would get yourselves into trouble; the itnernet is kind of unforgiving, and while the EC preaching is kind of arrogant, your response to it was just as bad! That video showed at least hardbooter's perception of a 'good and linked EC turn'.

I think it's the tone that is the problem, Couldn't agree with you more. Although one should be aware of the fact that people come and write here with different backgrounds, education level and writing skills. So not every text is deliberately written as negative or even as rude as it may appear.
