  1. This is cited in November 2005 edition of TIME magazine as one of the 'most amazing inventions of 2005'.
  2. Hope they work out. For those folks that love new technology. Radical NewTire design by Michelin Those 'flex' tires again... No air! And much less petroleum in their manufacture. Check these out... Thought you might like to see the next generation of tires. They had a pair at the Philadelphia Car show. Attached are pictures of the new Michelin tires. These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires. This is what great R&D will do and j ust think of the impact on existing technology: · no more air valves · no more air compressors at gas stations · no more repair kits * Sorry for being off topic, but there's still no snow in tahoe

    Board sale

Jim, While riding this O'Sin, promise you won't be diving in the powder with your arms stretched
  4. And the most important thing (in my humble opinion), find a buddy carver in your area to hook up with. It's amazing how a few small tips here and there from a better carver can change things for the better in no time.
  5. Gecko, cant and lift adjustments (as I wrote) equals fidgit ? I ride cateks on my virus, then on powder or less groomed days I put them on my donek axis. And believe me, when you are changing bindings from one board to a whole different board, you are happy you CAN adjust cant and lift. just my 2 cents though. I think bombers and cateks are both good products.
  6. One could argue, you play with the cant & lift adjustments on cateks simply because you CAN !
  7. if you mean asymmetrical and won't mind other brands, I've got an oxygen goofy.
  8. Looks nice, I was already happy with my olympics but I think the new improvements are all in the right direction. Now I need a good excuse to get these new OS2. I know I can't break mine so I have to come up with something else.

Steve, that MG story was funny! I am still interested in something spiky for the rear end of my boards.

    Stomp pad

I'm afraid it won't hold. it'll bend easily. we need REAL spikes

Steve, I know tailgating can be annoying, but I hope you are not one of those guys driving 50 mph (highway) on the far left lane, expecting others to drive either behind them or pass on the right. In that case, the tailgator wants you probably to move to the right. It was never a problem in europe and slower traffic was always driving on the right lane. BTW, I love that spike idea on the tail. I would get some too if I knew an easy way of doing it.
  15. I second that. One of the best slalom boards. I should have kept mine.
  16. Paul, Sureeee....let us know in advance. a few of us are season pass holders and each season pass holder can have a 'buddy" who can get a full day pass for half day price. Flying carpet is my favorite run and every weekend there are some 10-12 carvers around.
  17. The older UPS boots (pink/purple with funny color liners) were pretty soft. Every now and then one pair pops up on ebay.
  18. Solutions to cavewife problem: 1- get her something expensive that she likes if you got the money(bribe her) 2- park the car somewhere else for 3 days, tell her the car broke down and there is a big bill for the repair. Get the virus and tell her it's a defect board and you got a deal on bomber classified for 50$. I am sure others will help and offer more original ideas/solutions
  19. Paul, I kindda figured that later ;) I deleted that post myself. It was a one weekend action to see whether any of bombardeers are interested in bringing an offer. Some boards (who knows maybe even the virus if I place my new order) will go on ebay in november/december. will you ever come to kirkwood for a day?
  20. Tim, you got yourself a KILLER board. Congratulations and welcome to the infected club.
  21. Interested in the prior. mail sent.
  22. So I entered my poll as (1000-1500$). I am guessing that my dreamboard would be a gladiator zylon (yes Ray and Chris, like the one you guys have) but I am not sure if it's really that much better than my tantalus team. Sad part is, even if it is better, it is still out of my range of expenditure (it costs 1600 euros, tax and shipping not included). Another problem with buying big bux custom board: you should stick with it forever and it's very hard to get a fair price for a used custom board. Having said that, logic can not always rule over passion and/or fun. I am guessing that if Chris writes up a good report on his gladiator, I may still call Frank and beg him to make me one and ship it overnight. (BTW, if I get to that point of insanity; here is your chance to buy my virus tantalus team edition used for half season :p )
  23. Nice homepage. easy to navigate and great pictures. now, adding some videos will surely make it look even better.
