  1. Are there kooks, jackasses, CHEAP a$$wipes know-it-alls who know nothing post here? I know kidwellroundtail and kidwellroundtail is not your Bola. Should any of your posts be taken seriously? By the way Terry Kidwell is still in Tahoe therefore this thread is erroneous, as the collection is not Terry's.
  2. There are some at All Boards Sports in Colorado. Give those guys a shout.
  3. Does boot tongue deformation count or is that taken out of the equation as well?
  4. speaking, what is the real difference between walk mode and locked mode? I will argue that resistance is all being employed here. I will not break down the elements of the resistance as they are intuitively obvious. Now that begs the question on the BTS. In fact, walk mode is generally recommended for powder riding where you are in a surfing mode as opposed to carving. WB I always enjoy your posts; you bring a very unique and critical insight to this forum. Ride on bro!
  5. Are you sure Lib Techs are that cheap, $250.00. Even the snowskate from Mervin is a lot more than $250.00 retail. Are you confusing your wholesale pricing and industry connection, in order to to slam Dennis? I think some clarification is in order here. I am not defending Dennis but nothing is wrong with his pricing in a free market economy, as you have no idea his overhead cost. In addition, he has Milo Sports, down the road, to content with. Is price gouging unAmerican? I say not, just look at Enron, Exxon-Mobil and you see that price gouging is totally American. Now on the race plate, did you check the contents before you left his store? If you did not, then you expect his manager to just believe your word, knowing that there are scamming customers out there including shop lifters. Note that these groups contribute to increased cost of doing business.
  6. Way to go C5 Golfer. Why pay any tax at all? Of all the taxes paid by Americans, the state tax is the most important because it is more closer to home. Shopping locally, directly affects your local economy without getting into economics and trade deficits or surpluses. Do you know anyone that works for the state of Washington or does any member of your extended family works for the state? Then, you are not willing to support them. As you know, the state tax is approved by the citizenry and should be paid to support services offered by the state to it citizens. Hopefully, the move to introduce sales tax to all internet sales in the continental US may change your position. On the other hand, should the Walmart mentality prevails then we are all doomed.
  7. Ha! check out All Boards Sports for a volkl cross 167. They may have the SG cross 169w but may be too much mulla for ya.
  8. Why soft boot? Still looking around for smoking deals, hey? That is an all mountain board that has not been made in ages. It is like the Nidecker Proto, Donek Axxess, Prior 4X4, Coiler AM, SG Cult and more fun hardbooted. In soft boots just rock it at high angles.
  9. I am full of it would be the right reply.
  10. This clearly put snowboarding on the map. Regis was honored by the SIA a few years back for it. SIA is the Snowsport Industry organization in the US that is for the longest time skicentric. If you have not seen this, you should.
  11. Isaac Hayes got it right. Who's the private dick That's a sex machine to all the chicks? SHAFT! Ya damn right! Who is the man that would risk his neck For his brother man? SHAFT! Can you dig it? Who's the cat that won't cop out When there's danger all about? SHAFT! Right On! They say this cat Shaft is a bad mother SHUT YOUR MOUTH! I'm talkin' 'bout Shaft. THEN WE CAN DIG IT! He's a complicated man But no one understands him but his woman JOHN SHAFT! He can get you home quickly and safely floating at speed down the gnarliest terrain with confidence. JOHN SHAFT!
  12. Check out Reggis Rolland's own swallow tail, an awesome machine. Are you guys getting snow now, 1 meter?

Saw a couple of SG Snowboards (185) at Loveland. One had the Hardbooter.com and All Boards Sports Stickers on it and Hangl plates, I think Jeff Cooper was riding it. Check with Jeff, the hardbooter guys or the All Boards Sports guys. I think All Boards Sports is an authorized SG Snowboard dealer.

Bobdea Very objective in your response. As I heard it, the material came out of the NASA lab and the US Nuclear arsenal and has better physical and mechanical properties than polyurethane.
