  1. I will take the td3 with yellow if still available. I'm in Saskatchewan I would take incline also if available.
  2. I have got my MK and all I can say is this is the funniest board I have road. To say it is turny is an understatement. It can burn your legs fast but love it.
  3. Merry Christmas everyone. I'm about to buy a new board for my all mountain board. I was riding a Burton Super Model.( it is about 10 years old or more). I'm using soft boots at moment in this setup. I usually ride a proteus in hard boots on the blues. My question is. Do you guys ride hard boots on your all mountain boards. At lower angles. Or do you use soft boots. I could not mount my TD3 on my burton as different pattern. So was never able to ride hard boots. Just looking to see if I stay with soft boots or use my hard boots on the new board. also any suggestions for good soft boot binding. I usually try to ride my carving board most of the time. Thanks, sorry for long post.
  4. Go with soft boots. You won't regret it.
  5. I'm also interested if still available
  6. I have 29 years under belt. Just going for 30 this year. Had a burton snow cruser. Used sorel boots. The new boards are so much nicer to ride.
  7. I was a patroller for 10 years in Saskatchewan and they never taught how to remove an alpine board in there material. They did show how to remove skis. And most new how to undo soft boots but very few rode an alpine board except myself. That was with the Canadian ski patrol.
  8. Is the magazine release date known for the new issue. Not so patiently waiting. I want to see some carving.
  9. Corey, question about Asessippi. Is there any cabins to rent or places that could handle 10-15 people. Might do a family trip in February.
  10. I am hoping to make it. I work shift work and won't know my shift till December. I would love to come out. I could use some pointers to improve my riding as I am mostly self taught and sure I could improve alot with some help.
  11. Is there a specific date set in January for the session yet? Sounds like a blast.
  12. Thanks. There are not many hardbooters from Saskatchewan. Ever since White track ( local hill) closed I have not seen another. We had 4 or so guys riding hardboots then the guy that got us going passed away and it kind of died with him it seemed. I am a complete convert and love it.
  13. So just checking out kickstarter.com. A crowd funding site. They have a device called Trace. The device attaches to your board( snow, skate or surf). It measures how tight turns, length of runs, and a bunch more data. It is then downloaded to your smartphone at end of day. Looks interesting. Be good for feedback on a race. Thought I would mention it here. I pledged and hope it works out. Cheers
  14. At Fernie Ski hill today liftie " Oh! Rocking it old school with the old board". As I am riding my Donek Proteus. Which was my first time on it. And I love it. I wonder what she would say if I brought out my Burton 1980's cruser.
  15. Very nice picture. Looks like a lot of fun.
  16. Just curious on what you found with you step by step upgrade. Did you find a combination that worked better then others? I just got a set of head stratos and have ACSS. Just have not started mods yet.
  17. Don't think I will make it out east to Manitoba this year.
  18. I am not a fan of mission ridge. I usually go to fernie or hidden valley some times plan on going to Nakiska next year. I sent you an email but you answered everything here. I will take it just let me know shipping and if you take PayPal. Thanks.
  19. I'm interested in the snowboard. I live in Moose Jaw. How does it handle at assesippi?
  20. I'm interested if you still have the bindings. Will these fit a 27.5 mondo boot. Also what would be shipping cost to Moose Jaw,Sk.
  21. Corey; I see you are from Manitoba. I am from Moose Jaw, Sk. I just wanted to ask you a question about your Donek Proteus.

I have been hardbooting since 1994/95 I currently ride a 159 Rossignol World cup. I am thinking of going with the Proteus but just like to know how it handles narrower runs. I board at Hidden Valley and Fernie a lot and just wondering how it handles at Asseppii type hills. I have been out there before. Thanks for any input.

Just found this site and want to improve my riding and time to upgrade.

  22. Yeah not many hardbooters in Saskatchewan. When White Track (local Hill) was still running we had 3 or 4 of us Hardbooting. Saddly the guy that got us into it passed away a number of years ago. He was a great embassador for Snowboarding and Hardboots.
