  1. wow... um I'm identical. 5'10", 140lbs, goofy, 29.5 mondo. I recently bought a Donek Rev 170, 20cm width. AWESOME BOARD, edge hold is beyond compare, vsr is incredibly effective, makes 40mph feel like 20mph.
  2. bump back to relevance and where people can find it...
  3. No, I'm not. Even if I use the search button I still have to dig through threads to find the ones I want. why not do all of your posts in one thread? It would be quicker and less intrusive to the rest of us. I'm sure others would agree, but this thread will be on the 100th page by the time anyone else gets on the forum.
  4. seriously... this is getting annoying. and I don't know where any of the current threads are...
  5. I rock the ruroc (RG1 Ice) as well. It usually takes people long enough to look back and forth between my rev and ruroc that they don't have a chance to comment :D
  6. I'm surprised there isn't one of these threads yet this year. Several "oh, that's a ski board isn't it" today. Anybody know what a skiboard is? I heard one father explaining to his son behind me In the lift line that the reason my board(brand new donek rev 170) had a curved side so I can turn harder. I didn't fee l like explaining everything at that point so I just turned around and said "yeah." Now lets hear those stories!
  7. I would love to hear an answer to this question...
  8. Until is calms down, anybody who is payed in bitcoins and doesn't intend to use them as an investment is an idiot. They are so volatile right now I wouldn't even invest in them.
  9. Go with a custom Donek REV. They are fantastic boards, the best that you can get for a reasonable price. You'll get a board that will fit your son perfectly, and he'll be on top of the line equipment. Not to mention the resale value, Angela was selling her Donek for what, $900? and how many years old is it? Go with a Donek
  10. You can request to cancel the transaction, which either the buyer accepts, and you get credits back, or after 7 days you get credits back regardless. You can also petition with ebay to have the feedback removed, if it was unwarranted. That has never worked for me though... you can respond to his negative fb clarifying for the buyer that he wanted you to violate your shipping policy.
  11. maybe, just maybe, HVSST, (Hidden Valley, MO) Adam Adkins/Phillip Pennell. nothing is official, still working on forming it.
  12. I have a Ruroc helmet autographed by Chris Klug, and I was wondering what the approximate value is. It is a year old, and you have to buy them Direct from Ruroc for between $300 and $350. Thanks in advance!

  15. im a racer so I'm a tad bit OCD about the condition of my boards... What you described was a big reason why I got this new board. While I was in snowmass late last season my main race board got trashed. I don't have a wrap around edge the nose and the first day I was there a kid hit it right at the end of the edge and made a bump there about 4 mm tall. I hit a rock some point when I was stoppng and raised. 2 inch section of my edge mid-board about 3 mm.
  16. he was setting stuff like rubbermaids full of stuff, and other snow equipment on top of two boards I had sitting base up on saw horses, and laying boards (without my knowledge) base-down on plywood shelves. If he paid for any of it, then yes he would, but every penny I've spent on any of my hardboot equipment has been mine. I just want him to realize how much it matters, so that I don't walk downstairs on day and find a board with major scratch or something of the like.
  17. I have a new rev showing up in a couple of weeks, and my dad doesn't quite get the concept of how much scratches damage a (race) board, and how you CANNOT set ANYTHING on the base. what can I do to get him to understand that? he's an accountant, so numbers and stats about slowing the board down/devaluing the board would be great. Thanks in advance!
  18. in the words of someone else on another forum, buy my stuff.
