It is a shame, Blue IS really trying, but Ma ain't having No parts of it :(
  2. Blue was the same. Never seen so many people in the bottom lodge @ opening! Got nuts fast, really really hard packed, got 1 good run :D on Challenge (as they just groomed it) before it marbled up. Nightmare & Dream Weaver, I have no idea what par is, but they were covered in Giant Golf Balls. 2 hrs & Hauled Azz BEFORE disaster struck................

  4. Steve, I am curious as to how the bindings are fastened to the plate. From the pictures it looks like some of the Binding Screws are threaded directly into the Carbon Fiber with no nuts or backers of any kind, is that the case or did you use inserts that are not visable ?
  5. Will the Saturday & Sunday Lift Tickets be able to be used the Saturday March 1st and Sunday March 2nd ? I'm assuming so since their is no Saturday from Feb 23 through Feb. 28 ? Thanks Again to ALL that organize this event.
  6. SunSurfer , "They are not convinced of the additional benefit of a MIPS type helmet given that almost every helmet slips/moves on impact." JMO because I'm just a nobody, but it seems to me, the better a helmet is fitted to ones head the less it moves around. I wear my helmets properly fitted and tighter than most, so they have minimal movement (and I even have the chin straps buckled and snug). With the MIPS I recently purchased I can get a really snug fit that feels good and the suspension system built into the helmet can do the movement as designed. I can appreciate the BHSI reviews and evaluation as we all know their is a lot of manufacturers hype in everything available to the consumer ! All I do know is that in Real World fit and feel (for me) I really like the MIPS. After getting it properly set up and adjusted to my head, nothing has ever fit better out of the box without some kind of 'unauthorized adjustment'. Will it function better than any other helmet on the market? I hope I never find out !

  8. Nick, shoot 'wavechaser' a PM, I know he was looking for a set of the Catek Spacers.
  9. Wholly Crap , timing IS of essense, SWEET
  10. Need Step-Ins :D .. Actually that would probably be a good tool (with 2 people) for an Instructor to take a beginner for a ride to give them the feeling of making a turn. That should be all it takes to get them hooked !
  11. Great News for a change ! I don't know if that is something that Patrollers practice or not, but it sounds like some 'Quick Thinking' and Great Execution to me
  12. Bryan, no, I can't see them, this is the message I get when I try to open them: Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator.
  13. " Hey John, I've seen more than a few NJ license plates around here. It seems like a long drive, but some of your neighbors are doin' it... " Yea, and I'm on the 'west coast' of NJ so it should be a piece of cake, would be a heck of a day trip though :D ...
  14. Art, I agree 100% with wwwosb ! I love checking out what you and others that post often with conditions and pictures have to say! While we can't be there, we can dream :) !!
  15. cifex, being you are from NY, in addition to what has already been posted you 'may' also want to 'seriously' consider ECES 2014 ! It is an opportunity that will not present itself on the east coast for another 2 years ! Demo's available from many of the manufacturers along with a lot of used boards. Great deals on accommodations and lift tickets, seminars, lessons & Good Times !

    Yo Lci!!

Another job well done by the LCI .You guys are the BEST. Merry Christmas Everyone !!
  17. Although I have yet to upgrade to Fintec's, I always spray my step-ins and bindings with 'Lubriplate' Food Grade Silicone (PN. L0723-063). It doesn't always work 100%, but I feel it helps a lot. I feel it actually depends a lot on the snow condidtions. Stomp Pad, end of issue. Clear ones (nobody can see them ;)) are nice on boards with a custom top sheet !
  18. “Merry Christmas” to Everyone @ Bomber and the World Wide Community of Carvers !

  20. Spackler should have put at least one shot on those nails, gonna be close ;)
  21. Wow, not much action here this year. In years past we were booked by now, but life happens. Looking to put a group (4 or 5) together to make a (non-smoking) Condo affordable in the Aspen area. We have (2) with a 'possible definite maybe', so looking for 2 or 3 more to defray the costs of civilized living in the Aspen area. Arriving Jan. 30,2014 and leaving Feb. 8, 2014. We are 'Older Kids' (male, early 60's) not partiers, but like to have a good time, enjoy SES and RIDE ! Thanks to all that responded, we've got a Full House -- jp1
  22. Bugs, I think Jose had the best idea (for those of us that do not have a shop nearby to try them on) a while back. Purchase all of the ones (be it size or brand) that you think may work. Try them all on and keep the pair that fits best. Of coarse I'd OK it with the seller first. This way, you will only be out of the cost of return shippng.
