  1. I told Bruce 180lbs at the time
  2. SOLD 12-14m radius, 20cm waist. Bought new in February 2016, used in combination with 2 other alpine boards and 1 softboot board. Excellent condition. 1 recent tune and base grind. Edges beveled at 2 degrees side, 1 degree base. $550 shipped to the 48 states. Shipping extra elsewhere. I love this board but I am just "playing the field", so to speak. Energy option provides great pop, combined with that legendary smooth and comfy Coiler feel.
  3. Unfortunately you're not (well, you are through May 28 - the reminder email comes out 10 days in advance). I thought automatic billing was set up, but it turns out it wasn't - sorry! Learning curve, growing pains, etc. And it appears that it's not going to let you renew because of the configuration change to provide automatic billing going forward. You'll need to either cancel your current subscription or wait for it to expire on the 28th, and then start a new subscription. Apologies, but it seems this is the only way. Click the Subscriptions tab at the top of the forum to do this.
  4. Love the graphics, nice work. Should be a fun board. My next softboot bindings will be Now O-Drive.
  5. UPDATE: This appears to be fixed. I just subscribed using a test account and it set me up for automatic billing. HOWEVER - for existing subscribers who want to activate automatic billing, you will need to cancel your subscription and start a new one. My apologies but this is beyond my control. Thanks for your patience!
  6. Ah, yes, billing address is required by the system. I found the setting to make renewals automatic, but of course now an error is being thrown when I try to subscribe with my test account. I'm off to the help desk!
  7. Yeah, this is not good. In the configuration settings there is just a yes/no toggle for "Renews?". I assumed that meant automatic. I will research this and contact support if necessary. It really shouldn't require your shipping address, are you sure it did? I specifically turned off that option. Or did you mean email address? Did it say due on the 27th? There are no options in the admin control panel to set a global renewal date so it should be per subscription.
  8. I'd like to try that. The principle of no-push pumping is the same as on a toy my kids had, the Plasma Car. I'll bet they would like to come up with a solution for the rear truck too. The BMW Streetcarver comes to mind.
  9. Edit - I see you didn't delete ALL your photos... phew! Thanks. Unfortunately there isn't. Just chip away at it whenever you get a chance, if you want.
  10. Agreed. I started my custom order by using the contact form on their website. Hansjuerg himself responded from office@kessler1.ch. When it came time to pay, Jonathan Jenny got in touch. There have been vacations happening there recently. I got an auto-response from Jonathan. The elapsed time from custom order datasheet submission to board delivery was less than 2 months. Wicked decent for someone with no FIS or Olympic hardware.
  11. Good idea. You could also "edit" the picture on your phone, make a change (e.g. crop, auto-adjust, etc), and save it. That should compress the image again, making it smaller. I wish we could all upload whatever. Unfortunately we are right on the edge of the hosting service level, and the next level is almost double the monthly fee. It will be difficult to donate to USASA/USSRT if that happens. If everyone could go through their attachments and delete old stuff that isn't relevant anymore, that would be helpful. Click your username at the top right, then click "My Attachments". OK. Let's give it a try.
  12. Hi RoroSnow, Being able to host pictures here is now for subscribing members. The quantity of pictures already stored here increases the cost of hosting by a large amount. If you don't want to subscribe, you'll need to use another service to host pictures such as www.tinypic.com or Google Photos. Then you can put the direct link to the image in your post and it will be embedded automatically. Thanks!
  13. I'm going to try replacing the stock liners in my Driver X's with Intuitions and molding them with my footbeds. Hey now...
  14. I'm glad to hear that, lol. I asked for 10-14m merely to say "2m longer than the 168" which they say is 8-12m. The actual radius range is a mystery, because the curve is continuously variable, not just 2 or 3 radii stuck together. I measured my 168 and the radius gets quite longer than 12m in the middle of the board.
  15. Very well then! Done. We've had some outsiders show up to the ECES before and take advantage of the deals without actually participating in the event. It's unusual, but it can happen.
  16. You have to be logged in to see it. Do you think that shouldn't be required? I was on the fence.
  17. If I didn’t know better I’d guess this is 0.5 Titanal. But it’s gotta be 0.4, right? The top edges of the board are beveled, making it look thicker, but still.
  18. I think it should be good for me as I am at the upper end of the weight range for the 168. (cue the peanut gallery...)
  19. It’s going to be a long summer. Custom KST 175/20.5/10-14. Seems significantly stiffer than the 168.
  20. Got nostalgic for this video after coming across a NOS 1987 Sims Ultimate 1700 for sale. Brought me right back to watching and rewinding this segment of Tom Sims shredding pow in Jackson Hole, over and over when I was a kid. I could have sworn it was from the movie "This is Snowboarding" - maybe Snow Shredders was a compilation. I wish more snowboard movies were made this way - with long clips of beautiful powder riding. I think Sims' arms-up technique was probably necessitated by how terrible the boots and bindings were. Basically one level up from noboarding. My best friend had just started snowboarding in 1987 and bought this on VHS. We watched it dozens of times and it made me ache to learn how to snowboard and ride powder. I learned the next winter.

    Auctions?

Alright, good enough. No auctions. Thanks for the thoughtful comments everyone, I guess I've never pondered auctions so deeply!

    Auctions?

Only if they're unaware of the item's real value. IIRC, this has always been ok. Just keep in mind eBay's 10% commission.
  25. Weird year. The usual "January Thaw" lasted for most of January and February. Crazy that one of the best days of the year came 2 weeks before the very end of the season. It's basically all gone now though.
