  1. Hehe, well, to really do it right I'd want to hire actual videographers, take a week of unpaid leave from work, and hire a few other riders to do the same. Erik J Paul K GeoffV ~tb Arcrider Shred & Helmut Beckman T32..... hmm, better make it $20k ;)
  2. EC is an expert level skill. You will fail if you try to learn to carve like this from day 1, especially on icy conditions. Will someone please give me like $10,000 so I can finally make "the movie"? I shudder to think of how many newbies have been led down the path to bad habits by the EC videos.
  3. isn't it great how a corduroy day for carving is like a powder day for softies?
  4. Nice use of that Yello song, but what the eff is your board doing laying on concrete?!
  5. whatever, say hi to Crocodile Dundee for me, mate! throw some shrimp on the barbie!
  6. You friggen Australians are so touchy!
  7. I wonder if windsurfer foot straps would be safer and easier than snowshoe bindings?
  8. Haha... no, Bob got it from me. Then if I didn't hear it from you, now that I think some more I think it came from.... BUSTER!
  9. Cool, when did the T-bar go in?
  10. That first pic is hilariously awesome. Just be careful man. The thought of you catching a toeside edge.... *shudder*
  11. Thanks for the review Mike. But I thought the orig 158 you have is pretty clapped out, no?
  12. Ok, now that he is posting here (about 7-10 years late I might add ;) ) I must say that I got that analogy from Beckman.
  13. Be sure to dine at Chez Quis. Book the reservation under Abe Froman.
  14. 178 lbs naked. you're welcome for the visual.
  15. No Dave, you don't get it. While I have not personally seen you ride, I have heard from many well-established experts on this forum who have seen you ride at the SES, ECES, and elsewhere, that you do not know how to carve. Feel free to post technique advice when you have mastered it. Until then, please refrain.
  16. Looks fine Seraph, for the speed you appear to be going. Try keeping your head more level, you'll have better balance.
  17. without seeing you ride, your specs and your post make me think the 167 would fit the bill. However if *tight* slalom is the priority, then maybe the 163.
  18. I really don't understand how you can make comments like these when you are not even carving the board?
  19. When I tried that yellow proto, I moved my bindings around and I think I got them in the right spot for me. I still felt the board was too stiff and rode too long.
  20. how 'bout a metal all-mtn carver? Coiler all-mtn, Donek metal ax.
  21. Awesome! Such agility and control. Not to take anything away at all, but this sort of switch carving was done in the video Hear No Evil from the mid 90s.
  22. Awesome! The good ol' Method never gets old! Impressive front flip.
  23. ok Bob, let's give him a chance.
  24. I've never seen anyone here like that. I happen to not own a softy setup, but it is purely for economic reasons. If we got lots of powder here, I'd have one.
