Check out the Buck Hill Milk Run web cam, what are they doing? Putting in more b net at the bottom of the run? I'm guessing that is for the christmas camp thing

I'll be on my board tomorrow, but it looks like it's gonna be warm...

I made it out last evening on the SL board, didn't stay too long, maybe 8 runs on the board then skied. Parking lot was a mess when I got there 5:45ish, there was a bus with it's emergency lights on where you would make a right into the parking lot and people were lining up behind it but it was going anywhere. People making the left starting going around the car that was waiting to make the left. I ended up going in the exit. Snow was pretty skied up on crossroads but was decent, milk run was all fenced off, red tail ridge and the park below was closed. Snow seemed pretty crispy on the south side of the hill. Wind was blowing up hill so everything seemed slow.

Thinking I'll be out tomorrow night, might bring out the board this time... Maybe Saturday Night For sure Sunday morning, what time you guys headed there Sunday morning?

Hope they don't have the same fate as Moon Valley... You'll have to buy some of that awesome Buck swag in the ticket office! Ask them how much for the lunch in the fridge that's on the left as you enter, lol. The brewery that I was thinking of but couldn't remember its name is called The Lab I stayed till about 2:30, felt pretty tired after walking the dog when I got home.

fish tank broke couldn't take a shower because there was a spider in the bathroom you woke up in a good mood and didn't want to ruin it first day of class was too stressful you needed a day off the police blocked your car in while raiding your neighbor you're smoking meat and need to be home to watch it cause carving?

What liners did you get? I'm not a big fine of the liners that came with my Deeluxe's. I was just thinking last night I have a pair of Intuitions laying around I might remold

not sure on time frame of return, but I'm skiing in Whistler next month. I should be back in not too long

I went to urgent care that Saturday night, orthopedic doctor on Monday, and I think they scheduled me for surgery as early as they could which was Friday. I guess we just need to complain more to get our way

From the rumor mill... I guess the head honcho guy of the Buck Hill race team told the owner to remove the moguls, they're gone now. The end of the NASTAR/Ski Challenge run is very narrow at the bottom because of the jump. A guy that does a lot of the race announcing (I think) panicked, lost his edge, slid into the red safety net. He was in a lot pain, maybe broken hip or femur. That was the first run of the night. I've never seen so many Ski Patrol at Buck, I think there was a dozen of them there last night. Sat 12/29 Buck made snow over night, was covered in gates and not really groomed. Took two runs and left, should have brought my skis.

According to Wikipedia, snowskates have existed since the 1930s... You use to be able to rent those at Powder Ridge back when I was in high school. I think a lot of people got hurt using them, so you can't rent them anymore. Edit: wiki link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowskates

I see the snow guns setup on crossroads, guessing they're going to start pumping out snow for the moguls.

I was out there skiing around 5ish. Some soft snow, but the wind blowing up the hill was awful. They stopped the two quad lifts around 8 because it was too windy.

Buck had a lot of the snow guns going before they closed Sunday night (warners, olympic, bunny hill), hopefully they started them on crossroads and milk run. Snow was worse Sunday night, icy Minnesota crud.
