  1. What board are you riding there?....waist? Good to see the versatility in hardboots! Show them park goons ;)
  2. I'm holding out...I've gone this far so I'll just ride out the anticipation in hopes we'll get a good dump within the next 2 weeks. Get out yer slalom boards folks! I'd imagine it'll be a s*#tshow...the ol'meat gates. It'll keep you on your toes for the first time out anyway ;) I'm just jealous though...
  3. Did you try www.yyzcanuck.com If it's not on the website it still could be in stock. Shoot them an email. They're great to deal with too.
  4. Hey folks, I'm putting the feelers out for what's out there in a 25-25.5 boot. I'm trying to get my girlfriend into this carving thing (she skis now) and figured a small investment in boots is a good start. She has a high arch and wider forefoot so something that matches that criteria is preferable but am open to suggestions. As her commitment to this sport has yet to be been determined, I'm looking for something not too pricey. Thanks!
  5. PM sent for 25 women's
  6. Mine was the coffee...love the bean The idea came from another board I saw on here last year with the grains of rice (DMC perhaps?) so I thought , "hey I can do that with coffee!" At first I just wanted all beans...then I talked to the graphics guru Stephen Fleck who with a wonderful artistic eye, suggested a few more things and made the rest possible...will post up photos after I get it :D I like the contrast in colours on your though and the "coiler" font is awesome! You get the 21cm waist?
  7. Ti_Knee...Nice ride! Bruce just sent me a pic of my board too...apparently there were a few just-completed AMT's hanging out together, yours was in the pic too. Quality looks great and nice design!
  8. Friend sent this to me...very clever sales tactic for a snowblower. http://moncton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-tools-equipment-11HP-29-Snowblower-W0QQAdIdZ332915918
  9. I second that...couldn't have said it any better.
  10. Ian...I'm out for Saturday as I'm out of town over night and can't guarantee I'll be back in time. I have a feeling it'll be a rough go for my fitness level once I get on the mountain. Too bad the snow is melting :( Mother Nature is such a tease...leads us on and drops us.
  11. Awesome, you guys rock! I'll most likely be buying a new helmet this year too so I can do everything at once. Perhaps I'll get two lenses off the bat...or start off with the flat light lens and go from there. Keep'em coming...
  12. crucible- EDC board? Everyday Carver? Early Day Crud? I should probably know this...
  13. Thanks teach...nope, I don't have those. Mine are basic old school amber, nothing fancy and they aren't that good in any condition. I'm thinking they are more from '98 or '99 so I'm way overdue.
  14. Hilux

    one piece snow suit

Ha! Awesome! I remember Nevica being around when I was a kid learning to ski. If I remember correctly it was decent quality...for $25 you can't go wrong.
  15. I've done a search on here and couldn't find much. I've also read/researched what other companies offer but would appreciate the opinion of fellow BOL'ers as well. I'm looking for a goggle (lens) that's good for flat light. What colours have you found work best for those cloudy days, shaded slopes, and the after 1:30pm light conditions? I've had a pair of Smiths with the orange/amber lens for 10 years but I'm due for something that'll bring out the definition in terrain more. As I'm on a limited budget, is there anything you've found in the $100 range that's worked well? Any suggestions/input would be helpful!
  16. oh, didn't notice; then it's all good
  17. Interesting, good idea. Have you tried this before with good results? I'm constantly fiddling with angles but I suppose this shouldn't make any difference. I wonder if temperature has an effect on the durometer of the e-rings and has a bearing the bolt tightness (thereby misaligning the marked lines)? For example if I get my setup ready in room temperature versus adjusting setup in -10C. Might give it a go regardless. Thanks for the tip!
  18. hmmmmm...go pro on the tail? Tuck it right near your rear foot and get it all on file. Erm, sebestian...that thing looks loaded
  19. I struggle with number five, more of a mental block...or lack thereof. My old boards I'm not too concerned about but it's the new one that I worked my a$$ off to pay for that worry about. Sure, a scratch really isn't a big deal and it doesn't affect performance or my ability to have fun. The concern is Johnny-Ignorant. It all comes down to principle, manners, attitude, and respect (in no particular order). It's like getting that first scratch/ding on a car; once it's over, the damage is done, there's a sense of relief...after the initial rage subsides of course Can you still access good cord with a helicopter? ;)
  20. Ha ha, I'm expecting December 3. And yes, I'm already an overprotective dad...just can't trust anyone. The anticipation is driving me nuts at this point. The lack of snow is keeping me in check but once we get that first covering I'll be crawling out of my skin and irritable if the hills aren't open What time you heading up to MSM?
  21. Ha, that's ridiculous. Lifties worried about boot prints, seriously?...guess they didn't consider that the trenches you were leaving on the hill were an issue in comparison.
  22. That is quite the sidecut. Interesting specs, will be interesting to hear your review on it once the snow flies.
  23. sebestian that looks killer!...figuratively and literally
