  1. Not to be a party-pooper but MSM is a funnel...especially when they are down to 2 runs on Vanier (which they claim is 4-5). Maybe with the snow it'll be better...I'm just picturing weekend crowds there, maybe not though. edit: the forecast is okay for MSM Calabogie is down a lot of runs too and they aren't getting the snow we're getting (and east of here). If they groom, and get Barrett Chute open I'd be more down (showing it's closed). I was controlling the webcam and it looks like they had groomers on it this morning otherwise not so keen with limited runs. I was also thinking Titus but they are expecting crummy weather and freezing rain overnight. Mont Blanc? I don't know...Cascades (a bunch of runs just reopened)? That rain really did a number...my brain hurts...coffee edit: Mont Blanc is looking promising, perhaps a little too warm however they do have snow! Anyone up for a small road trip?
  2. Change of plans...Sunday is looking a little better than the sleet coming in on Saturday evening. What are y'all thinking for mountain hill hill?
  3. Indeed, I've had great experiences dealing with stuff being shipped through USPS Priority International to Canada. I've done many, many transaction through ebay with NO issues. Agreed, avoid UPS.
  4. It's either Atomic or Lamar...I believe Atomic dropped out and Lamar picked it up in their later years, not 100%. Regardless, it'll be a good start for you and you'll have something to get you out on the snow with all of us. Gotta start somewhere.
  5. I had some contact with him regarding the bindings and from what I could tell from our communication, it's all good :D
  6. Interested...do you have any pics? Can you elaborate on "seem to work perfectly"? Is there anything that would lead you to believe otherwise? Just noticed your email isn't enabled through the forum either....I'll send you email once this is done for more details. Thanks!
  7. I believe it's only mandatory for Quebec residents...however, winters are always a good idea. edit: oops, just saw this was already mentioned.
  8. Despite the rock hard conditions and lack of snow, tonight was fun...thanks Ian! Awesome group there tonight and it was great to see a few new faces. Can't wait for more snow!

If lafcadio doesn't take bindings please put me in line if Medium and have cant/wedges. Thanks!
  10. Heya, interested for sure. PM sent
  11. :lol:haha, "dinkiest"...so true. I'll see how the epoxy cures, and plan to ride the FP. Don't worry too much about it...
  12. Dare I say it before Ian? Burn it!!! Or let me ride it tomorrow night and we can burn it afterwards :D Is my Burton FP stiffer than the Proton? Edit: oh, congrats on the new digs. What colour...please don't tell me it's black.
  13. Looking for a set of bindings for my girlfriend but don't want (or can't) shell out full pop for new ones at this point. I'm hoping to pick up some F2's but am open to other offers and suggestions. Whaddya got and what's your price...Thanks!
  14. I might have to bring out the slalom stick tomorrow night...just epoxied my board as I had a 4inch long by 1/8th inch deep strip of topsheet ripped right off down to the metal. Pretty bummed about it...also had to fix up the other side that was delaming from my boot hitting the side when skating along (started last year after 15 days out). :mad:Not really impressed with durability as my Burton FP held up far better after years and years of use...of course it doesn't perform as well. Dang.
  15. I'm in for Thursday (day) and tomorrow night Vorlage.
  16. Can you provide any more specific info as to what you mean by "the bindings do not hold the boot in..."? I assume you've tried adjusting them fairly tight? I've got UPZ RC10 (27.5) and have used them with Race Plates and as charliechocolate mentions, I've got a little play in the toe bail but not enough to release or not hold the lever in place while carving. Any details you can provide would be helpful.
  17. See ya there! I think they open at 9:00 though no? Either way I'll be there early...should be a beauty day :D Oh and don't forget your ski extreme pass it's $25 plus tax I think.
  18. The one run "expedition" is open (skiers right) but it looks like the other half is closed. I'm trying to picture how wide the half is. I was toying with the idea of Cascades as well but leaning towards Vorlage because of number of runs open hoping it will thin the crowd out. Vorlage has the left chair open with Look-Out and Birch Valley good to go. I pretty much stick to these runs for the consistent pitch however Look-Out on weekends will sometimes have gates set up pretty well smack dab in the middle...hopefully there's a race happening somewhere else. Anywho, I'm game for wherever the crowd (carvers) goes. Tabby, I'll consider a Sunday morning Camp Fortune if it's balls on Saturday...although I might do a Sunday night Cascades because it's dead (and I've got the pass).
  19. :eek:Wow...hmmmm...whew...sheese...errr....ahhhh...I guess we can't get it over with;) I'll go as long as we get there first chair...I still think I need a few hours to mull this over.
  20. Woo! Tabby, I'm thinking of either Vorlage or Cascades. I was thinking bigger (Mont Ste Marie) but kinda far, more $$, and I'm not a fan of the terrain to tell you the truth...let me think on it. What were you thinking?
  21. Ha pretty much neighbours...if F2's fall through perhaps we can arrange a deal and local pickup. You still riding in the area? I appologize for the thread highjack:o
  22. Awesome graphics...super clean indeed. I wish the east coast had the "problem" of too much snow/powder  Have fun on your new ride!
  23. Ed C, I might be interested in the F2's if tanman ops out. Is you email enabled through the forum? What Kemptville are you from...Canada?
  24. Ah good ol'chair lift rides...
