    Just saw this on a product write up for Speed TC bindings: 'we recommend changing the bails after around 50 days of normal riding – safety first, after all!' http://www.carvecompany.com/index.php?id=binding-speed&L=1 Is this something a recreational rider would have to worry about? Is it just an ibex thing and if so, how come it is not on other distributor sites?

    Zoltan, That is perfect. Thank you for the info and getting me off this fence. I am going for the heads because they have the most checks in the positive column.

    Thank you for the advice. Hers is a wider foot with narrow heel. Based on that alone I would go with the UPZ. Unfortunately a good boot fitter is a couple hours away for us and I would be ordering the boots online. I am hoping there is someone out there that has had opportunity to compare both boots.

    Does anyone with a larger calf size have experience with the Head Startus Pro versus the UPZ RC10? My wife is purchasing her first pair of boots and always runs into this problem with regular boots. I am strongly leaning towards the Heads because they have a lower cuff but I thought I would reach out for opinions before pulling the trigger.

    What is the average shipping time to Canada? I ordered my copy just over two weeks ago and am getting anxious. Been a year you know :)

    I got run over a couple of weeks ago. Red and black, blue bird, no one in front of me, two guys way behind me. Looking uphill on my toeside and this guy came straight lining down and took me out just as I completed the turn. My wife said it was like he was drawn to me from the other side of the run. Are TD3's magnetic? Has this been considered as a factor? Warranty?

    The exact same thing has happened to me as well. Softie binding screws work, you just have to shorten them a bit.

    I have my eye on the prior fissile. I would like a board that can handle resort chop and the ankle to thigh deep pow we get. Anyone have any experience with this board? I would love something I could use my ATBs on.
