  1. I found that Zipfits are pretty ridgid laterally and good for skiing but not great for hardboot snowboarding. You do get good heel hold down and lots of toe room but the outsides and insides of my lower legs became very sore and bruised. I think they defeat the purpose of flexing in hard boots. Just my $0.02 and worthless.
  2. The Rossii is honorably mentioned. No pow board because my time on the Mt is limited and carving on groomers is my only consideration at this point.
  3. This is my quiver for '18 - '19 and I'm stickin' to it. In whatever order...all custom built for 60 to 80 kg except the 163 Rossi Slayer which is my $29 Ebay special and a nice little board. All Coilers except for the Alpine 168 and the Rossi. 172 NFCB, 180 EC, 163 SL, 176 AM, 170 NFCE (green snakeskin on right)
  4. STOP ! I don't want to hear about any more new boards. I have several to break in come November.
  5. Summer board porn pic to be posted pretty soon now that my quiver is full. I can't think of anything I would add to it.
  6. Just received a new Coiler (the usual excellent design and build quality from Bruce)...November in my dreams!
  7. Bruce is alive and well (well...almost) but is working on our boards.
  8. Like the new logo!
  9. I'd suggest to anyone who has been told that their knee, or other joint, is "bone on bone " and must have surgery that they should consult with Dr. Dan Henderson, a Kirkland, WA, Dr. in a large orthopaedic group. Dan specializes in stem cell therapy.
  10. This has got to put a smile on Bruce's face and it makes me feel a little less guilty about my own small quiver which I will post when I get it together.
  11. I have no desire to join the ranks of you bionic people but i'm sure glad modern medicine can fix you. Speedy recovery to all including to our board builder, Bruce.
  12. Cool graphics and you can't go wrong with Bruce!
  13. Damn, and at 10 seconds before close I thought I was going to score the 2007 172 Donek Axxess with step-in TD3s for under $300. It went for something over $500. Oh well, I certainly didn't need it. On of you should nab the size 27 RC10s tomorrow morning by the same guy.
  14. I thought I had already signed up for automatic billing but I received an email today to b pay but it wouldn't allow me to go to the correct page. So, am I paid up or not?
  15. Luv'it. Inspirational! Opens for new ideas...long summer indeed!
  16. From what I have seen the Deeluxe boots came with three, heat moldable, wrap around liners, i.e. 131s which have only a Deeluxe label in them and came stock in 225s and 325s, the 141 which has no Deeluxe label but does have a Palau label and came stock in the Track Free 69s and 425s (maybe the 425 Pros too, I don't know) and a 151 which I think may be for wider feet (not sure of that either). In my UPZ RC8s, M 28, I've only used 131s with considerable surgery in the toe area of the liner, not my toes, and I have gotten them to be very, very comfortable. They are softer and a little thicker than 141s and after reading that Corey thought his feet moved around too much in 131s I may mold a new pair of 141s I have for next season for comparison. I've never felt my feet moved around in the 131s but then I'm sure I don't put nearly as much force on them as Corey does. I expect Intuition has liners to cover all of the above. I think their Power Wrap may be similar to the 141.
  17. This is like future Board Porn or Board Porn 2.0. I enjoy hearing what guys are dreaming about for next season and it gives me a few ideas of my own.
  18. I'm not a big fan of EC (I also can't do it) but that is really nice carving no matter how you cut it.
  19. I hope Jack posts full specs, rational for those custom specs and an image when he gets the new Kessler in hand.
  20. Like the specs for a tamed down ECer...should cover a lot of bases and, just possibly, be a 10 for a do everything carving stick, but you're an actual serious racer, aren't you?
  21. DITTO! You've got to keep the stoke going. Order a new board for July delivery and another for October delivery and you close the gap.
  22. Is the Intuition Alpine similar to the Palau, or Deeluxe 141, that is stock in the Deeluxe Track Free 69s and 425s? The 141 (Palau) is thinner and stiffer than the 131. Deeluxe 141 is a Palau liner but maybe Palau makes others too.
  23. The honor system is all that's needed. Most sellers realize the value of dealing with fellow carving nerds on this site. Nobody's going to get rich off of any of this but some of the cost and time of running this site should be compensated for.
  24. I agree with Jack. An on your honor donation, say 3 to 5%, of your sale price, wouldn't be too much to ask. That practice is followed on a rowing site where I buy and sell oars, boats, etc. and it seems to work. Your other choice is Ebay, which I use a lot too, but it's pretty expensive when you add up all of the costs.
