    Madd 158

I'll take it if condition is 'Good' Please send me some photo to piusthedrgolf at gmail dot com.
  2. Well... It's all depends on types of riding you would like to do with the board. I had 175 Titan last season and now I ride 170 Full Carve. As WinterGold said, Titan is little more versatile on ruts. (Ice... I will find out after this weekend .. :) Both decks want to find fall line but it is little easier to find carve line on Full Carve. So it's matter of you to decide what type of riding you pursue. If you do race, go with Titan, if you ride recreationally, go with Carve. More FUN. BTW, the both decks got amazing edge hold and speed, which I like.
  3. For boots, You posted you want 27.5-29 size boots. That range has 3 different sizes. Measure your feet in cm from tip of a longest toe to end of the heel. That would be your Mondo size. You can go little less (like I'm at 284-6 and wear M28 or M28.5 boots).
  4. I may sell my SL setup (Volkl RT 163 SL, F2 bindings, and M28 or M28.5 boots). PM me for photos if you are interested.
  5. Phillip head screw. you should be able to find exact size if you pull one out and go to local hardware store with it. I think it is 18 mm.
  6. How's condition there? I'll be heading Canaan next Sunday for 2 days with family. Anyone? WVrock?
  7. hmm... sent PM twice. Basically, shipping to CA would be $25 with tracking through USPS Priority. Please PM me or piusthedrgolf at gmail for payment information.
  8. Bummer 2 !! ? then, do you have 11 and 12 also? If you like 2012 one, any chance to share your love of F2 away? (2011 one) :)
  9. WOW. That I didn't know. For centering boots, I like heel-biased on front but toe-biased on rear (at least that's what I've been taught). Yes. if base plates has 2 extra holes, it would be ideal for ppls who are in-between F2 binding sizes. Just to make sure, I will take look under few of my F2 bindings tonight. tenorman, Thank you very much for your insight and Please let us know when you find out. One more thing... How's your new F2 Silberpfeil Carbon treating you? Just put up mine (07) for sale. Your earlier review post was very tempting to get one. Any more update to reveal its riding characteristics?
  10. Yup. I use 'Gilmour Bias' setting and it works on medium but then one of bail is at most outer setting. I will stick with 'Large' ones. Thanks you all for recommendations
  11. I got this carving machine from fellow BOL member last season. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?31740-2007-F2-Silberpfeil-168 Then, rode probably 4 half days by me and se7en only on perfect condition in last season. Although the original owner told it had a core shot damage (repaired professionally), I didn't feel any abnormal behavior at all. The tail was strong and gave good kick out of each turn. If this was 172, I wouldn't sell it. Freshly waxed yesterday. SOLD Here is spec. info. http://www.wslc.co.jp/snow/f2/06_07/bo_silberpfeil.htm
  12. 09 Prior WCRM 173. PM me if you're interested.
  13. It's all personal preference and depends on types of riding you would like. Post some of your height/weight/experience/types of riding/usual snow condition/etc. That would be the key info. that BOLers can recommend/suggest to try out. OR Simply go to ECES (your neck of wood events) to try out all. :)
  14. I have worn M28 for HSP and Deeluxe boots and used F2 Race Titanium bindings Large. When I switched to UPZ M28, noticed that the insole distance is significantly shorter than other boots. When toe & heel blocks are adjusted for the UPZ boots, they are well inside of center. Then I tried them on F2 Medium and it fits and still have approx. 1 cm to go bigger for each toe/heel block. Now I can go with Medium or Large but what's the advantage or disadvantage of choosing one over other? What do you recommend? I know F2 suggest medium for 24.5-27.5 and Large for 26.5-31. Oh usual binding angle are 60/58 on < 19 cm width deck or 56/53 for > 20 cm width deck, if that matters.
  15. Yup. After riding various titanial boards last season, I wouldn't choose Full Carve if Match2002 & WinterGold didn't suggest. Now, I'm glad I followed their recommendation. I still like the pop out of turns from well made glass boards but stability that titanial boards has is really hard not to consider, especially you want to go fast.
  16. Extremecarving.com's Arnaud has them. Oh he is also BOL member too. PM him and ask for ACSS.
  17. I had 169 & 179 4WD Pre 08 model and Now ride 170 Full Carve. Construction, Shape, and Geometry are totally different between 4WD & Full Carve and obviously it rides very differ. The 16 cm difference of running length is significant for same length decks on fast carving. I was experiencing very stable rides and edge hold like titanial boards with Full Carve. I do have a Prior WCRM which is pretty much similar shape like SG (but not aggressive like SG) but totally different ride characteristics. if you want full comparison on those specific decks (4WD vs. Full Carve), please PM me.
  18. Finally, I dialed in the UPZ boots and finally had full test on 170 Full Carve yesterday. Hehe.. what can I say. I love it. Before yesterday, I thought it is like racing decks but found out it is not. Edge hold was like Full Race Titan. Long sidecut radii (approx. 15m) was nice for 170. but I could make them tight if I wanted to. Very fun board to ride. Stiffer than 175 Full Race Titan definitely. It also like to find fall line but manageable to track on carve line. On few turns, it launches me at the finish of turn... not like freecarving decks (clean & snappy) but more clean and bold, if you know what I mean. Thanks you and match2002 for the nice recommendation... but then.. where is SNOW this season?
  19. 02-13-2012 se7en and I went WT and took first chair at 8:35 a.m. They blew snow guns all trails. Took 3 runs at SnowPark and went to Farside. One the way going there, I got face implanted on toe side turn at Angel Drop. Snow was soft-packed. Side of trails got untracked 5-6 inches on top of groomed. Met Davekempmeister at the bottom of Farside and rode 2-3 runs with him. At last stretch of Farside, another face implant happened. Madd 170 was a killer but too soft for my weight. In fact, Looking at the camber geometry, I forwarded stance and that's what happened. After eating snow twice, switched to SG and rode mostly SnowPark. Met grock5 and Dave joined few runs after. Around 10:30, they turned off the snow guns and it was perfect. Last stretch of SnowPark was way slow and one area on the top got little icy but good area to pick up speed. We left at 12:45 since we knew our legs were toasted. All in all, the best condition of this season.
  20. Ooops. I didn't know there is a line for bindings. If Wolf doesn' take the bindings, I will.
  21. Yeah. Seating together with 3 other hardbooters was RAD (really rare in our area). Awesome time I had. We (with se7ven) left aroudn 12:45. Legs gave up on me. The best condition of this season without doubt. Post a day before if you coming up. Love to ride with other hardbooters.
