  1. thanks man, that helps alot. it turns out it my bindings just weren't grabbing tight enough, cause i was afraid of the damage they'd do to the boots  i'll test this tomorrow before i got to work (at the resort; i love riding for free)
  2. i just shortened the distance between the toe bale and the heel, one notch. the bales are alot stiffer now, but i can tell they'll hold. the only reason i didn't do this before, was because i was afraid, i'd crack the boot... so now i guess my new question, now is; is it really that possible to crack the boot?
  3. i'll go take another picture... but yeah, i was thinking about the maybe using my leash to keep my toe bail closed
  4. it's so weird, cause now when i put the boot in and try to dissect the problem, the boots and bindings have absolutely no play ... i used my cousins photo bucket account, so while doing this i stubbled across this photo, that i just thought i'd share with you all
  5. i used ski boots for awhile, when i first started alpine boarding, and lately i've actually been considering going back to them... but thats really not my point... when i went from my ski boots to my deeluxe track 700s i had to make some big adjustments to my bindings cant and lift, had i not done that i think it's possible that i too, could've been in a world of hurt. so yeah... try adjusting the can't and lift on your bindings
  6. will when i get home tonight... i think i fixed the problem though... i wanna saying something, but i'll wait until i get my binding situation figured out, before sabotaging my thread :p
  7. i still like when people say my board look super soft, and "buttery"
  8. sorry man, i'm actually from a much more southern part of minnesota. I usally ride at afton alps (i also work there)
  9. yeah, i was honestly thinking it my be the whole expand and contract thing, myself. i have regular bail type bindings and a t700 boots.
  10. i have no clue why, either. it only happens at the beginning of a run, though. every thing is tight. they're catek os2 bindings... is it possible that they're just jamming up with snow? They didn't seem that snowy...
  11. thanks... I actually took some old heel lifts out of a pair of ski boots i have, and tried putting them in my t700s. worked pretty good, actually. a little bit of foot discomfort but nothing i can't game with. It's a issue i'll just have to work on for the rest of the season. btw, i had my boots fitted at summit board shop, after sports authority told me that they couldn't work on them, cause they didn't know enough about them.
  12. ... the boots actually didn't come with foot beds... just liners. but thanks i'll look into getting some foot beds, and see if that helps
  13. oh yeah... It's the arch in my foot. and the boots fit pretty good
  14. So i bought some T700s at the end of the year, last year. i rode them once before the season got done, and my feet were killin' me at the end of the night. (seriously, i need help up the stairs). Later than night i got pretty hammered, and the pain went away, and was gone for good actually suggesting that this was tight muscles. well i now have had the boots heat molded to my foot, and i after riding them the other day, they still make the muscles in my foot really sore. any ideas as to ways causing this?
  15. Being that I'm still trying to learn good technique, my self, I was honestly confused about this video. The music and editing made me a little unsure if these guys were serious. I don't mean to be harsh
  16. i think it's basically be a short narrow board, with a longer side cut; when i "race" my friends on 145-155 park board, then usually will win, and i think it's because they have a lower surface area. by race i mean, we bomb down the hill in a straigh line... it's really cool  edit: by the way most of the liftys where i ride, just take a long stair at my board and say "thats a different kinda snowboard ant it?" ... I just reallized how funny that way lol
  17. oops :$ I am a joke, but i didn't make a video about it. lol
  18. i just ordered 700Ts today... so i think they're better... lol sorry, i got nothing... i'll hopefully be riding (and racing) on them next saturday.
  19. i just you tube snowboard carving and this is what came up.... is it just me or are they kinda take bad techneque a little too far? i think it might be a joke... *didn't watch the whole vid before posting... it's just kinda confussing... the one guy is in hard boots?!?!?! edit: after watching it some more, i see that there are some legit carves... but still???
  20. although i agree with this completely, i will, on occation ride with music. I generally am riding much faster than every one around me so i'm not really worried about hitting any one. Music just seems to throw off my focus (i know too much music thorey lol)
  21. wierd, i ordered D3s from them, and got them 6 days later, and i live in minnesota....
  22. You'll have more leverage to get the board from edge to edge faster if you use the lowest angles possible.

i'm not going to even thing about it. ...any way, if your into the hallow body market, gibson/epiphone, make a really really nice one. i think it's called the hummerbird. yeah, now a few companys actaully make varable watt tube amps wich gives your the abillity to push the tubes and keep it down to a dull roar. Vox makes one i know (i also own it), and i think Marshal does too. they're a far cry from real tube amps but they're alot better than solid state
