  1. Marker: I don't know if we have met before - I ride Coiler's and a Giro full face helmet. Will be on te Moonstone side. See you there. Rob
  2. Hey Guys & Gals: I will be at MSLM Saturday morning - snow should be great and sunshine will be out. Should be there around 8:10AM - Moonstone lodge - want to beat the March Break crowds. See you there. Rob
  3. Gord: It has unique graphics - I will keep my eyes and ears open. Another suggestion is to keep your eyes on Ebay and craigslist - if whoever stole it want to sell it - this is where they go. Sorry about your lose. Rob
  4. I am in the club as well. Broke my rear foot after about 3 days of riding. Luckily, Dave Morgan lives nearby and is always stocked with replacement parts. YYZCanuck = great customer service Just my 2 cents Rob
  5. Goat: I am planning to head up either Saturday or Sunday morning - still trying to see how the weather is doing up there - lots of roads closed and high winds. I will be at MSLM and will post when I decide which day. All the best, Rob
  6. Sheffy: Thanks for the idea - I knew I could count on a fellow Canadian. All the best, Rob
  7. I am thinking of trying to ride with my iPOD, but want to get a set of head-phones with volume control. Then you can adjust the volume depending on the crowds on the hill - when it is completely open - enjoy music, when it is busy or unpredictable - no volume. If anyone knows of a good set of headphones/earbuds that fit under a helmet and have volume control - I am interested. All the best Rob
  8. Looking at the weather it seems that Sunday is going to be the day to ride. I have spoken to a couple of riders and it looks like we will have at least 5 carvers there. See everyone for first runs. All the best, Rob
  9. Divebomber: I think you just demonstrated the reason to have either Trench Diggers or Cateks under your feet. In metal (alloy) - I trust All the best, Rob
  10. Chris/John: Thank you very much for organizing another fantastic day at Osler - as usual the place rocks. What more could we ask for blue skies, groomed slopes, warm weathers and 20+ people ripping up a private club - life is good. Many thanks for the effort on behalf of all of us. ALl the best, Rob
  11. I was thinking about MSLM on Sunday. Rob
  12. Chris: I think you know mine, but to keep it easy: Rob Sydia All the best, Rob
  13. Chris: Thanks for organizing and count me in. All the best, Rob
  14. Chris: I am OK with any of the dates, so I will leave the decision in the hands of others All the best and Happy New Year Rob
  15. That is the worse case of Camel Toe I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to have nightmares for a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the best Rob
  16. I have been running a Catek Olympic SI Rear and a World Cup Standard front for the past two seasons - works like a charm All pro's. no con's Rob
  17. Is it me, but reading the description of riding style - one board to consider would be a Madd 158. Just my 2 cents Rob
  18. Linus: Great seeing you last night - too bad you had to go back to work UPS is the absolute worse for getting ripped off, but if you bitch and complain they will usually refund your money, except for what is owed to the Canadian government. E-mail me directly and I can provide you a number of ways of getting shipped into Canada for free or very cheaply. All the best Rob
  19. For all of us that could not travel to this - it was my understanding that it was video taped. WHo has the video and would they make it available to the rest of us, so we can benefit from John's knowledge and experience. Any insight to who has it and how we can get it would be greatly appreciated Thanks Rob
  20. Consider me confirmed. Looking forward to seeing old faces and meeting new All the best, Rob
  21. Gord: Didn't Bruce tell you - I highjacked your new boards - they look fantastic in my basement. Sorry buddy Rob
  22. Mike: I think you had the same experience as me - it really took the birth of my son to get me committed to quiting. Didn't want his memories of me to be bad smell, rotten teeth and dying early. Glad we both quit - now we need to tackle "OLD AGE" All the best, Rob
  23. Coming from a guy that has quit smoking for 10 months, after smoking about 15 years - smokers do not realize how bad they smell after a cigerette, even if it is outside. Now being smoke free for almost a year - I really notice the smell and it is truly disgusting. Never know how bad it was when I was smoking. Best reommendation, talk to those involved and explain this to them - I can guarantee that they do not know how bad it smells. I think an suitable arrangement can be hammered out - as long as they are not a$$holes. It is a different world when you are not addicted to these nasty things Just my 2 cents Rob
  24. Hagen: If you want to get together for a beer - I am halfway between Markham and the Downtown. I will be in North Carolina for the last big slalom skateboarding event, until Monday, but will be free throughout the week. If you want to skate, can provide you all the tools. This might be a great reason for all the Toronto/GTA riders to get together for an early season beer. All the best Rob
  25. I have been wearing a Giro Flint Full Face and love it. Actually saved my face at ECES in Maine - Jim and I had a "small" incident and I landed face first into corn snow - without it my face would have been hamburger (not that wouldn't be an improvement). The Flint is a nice helmet, because it is really a Ravine with the Visor and Full face added - always can be removed. Just my 2 cents Rob P.S. You can't spit in a full-face
