  1. "Heads Up" to locals in the Portland Vancouver area. Get your passes taken care of soon or miss out on the 400$ season passes at Mt Hood Meadows. I have a couple guys ready to rock, so if someone wants to help lead and or join a group let me know soon. I am happy to put folks together , please be ready with money in hand when you call. I do not , or can not actually lead another group, however , since people are contacting me allot it seems a natural to act as a " Clearing House" of sorts. Be ready to RIP!!! Thanks, Bryan Check this link for the specifics. http://www.skihood.com/Pricing/SeasonPasses/4buy4/default.aspx
  2. Email me at webmaster@oldsnowboards.com
  3. Hi Mike, too bad they are in the UK. Shipping would kill this deal. That and try collecting from EUROPE! Not handy. That is definitely one of the best bindings ever made. Extremely under-rated for ever!! I have seen a few threads about adapting high end Cateks etc. Which would be sweet for the Pow days on big sticks. These , with updated straps are an excellent alternative. Still ride these when I am not on plates, but then you knew that. Tear it up!! Bryan Thanks for the "Heads Up"
  4. http://tinypic.com/a029w http://tinypic.com/a02aa The "FARMER" This be the one? It would make a good Avatar for one of you screaming hot rods!!:) First come first served. PS. SWEET "Powder Rocket" for sure The Undertaker . An attempt to re-direct the thread back to Joels offering now that I have helped to side track it. Enjoy ! Bryan
  5. You are welcome to send photos and what alpine gear you are seeking ? No promises, however I do have a few alpine set up that could be traded. Thanks, Bryan
  6. Hi Joel. You have posted some sweet boards. Several that I have and really enjoy their ride. Happens occasionally that I end up buying back my own boards :) Perhaps we can work out a package deal on the three? Just a thought. Thanks again. Bryan DD probably still has a few NOS in the wrapper. I know I bought mine from him. Still a great ride. That Rossi Undertaker is a frikin "Powder Rocket" Narrow , BIG , fast!! Not for the weak of heart! There probably isn't another production pow board that will catch it. Have fun. Bryan WELCOME TO BOL Dave Kemp!!

  8. Welcome to Bomber! Very cool that your first post is about Crazy Banana! They made allot of "Crazy" top sheets. Lots of rocker for sure!! Are you also an alpine rider? What is hot in Germany these days?
  9. Two seasons ago. Spring time, PJ 7 Race arrives, it is so clean , the bindings are even at my angles and stance. I put some wax on it and road it that weekend /last day of the year. Added some vintage Burton neon clothing. Dude stepped right out of 1992!!! Pull up at the lifts , the lifties , just stood there with their mouths open. Each round they would have new questions. "Dude, why did you cut the tail off!", "Is that , LIKE a snowboard" . It was then that I knew I would have to converge on the area with a number of the local "Old School" and give them them a visual history lesson. I think the time has come to round up the crew and give them a day to remember!!! PS. Hey Jim, is that the yellow carving board you have ridden in any conditions for years! Now that is good service! Well done!!

It has been snowing since Monday night and more is expected for opening day. According to Steve Kruse, General Manager of Mountain Operations, the conditions on Timberline’s world famous Palmer snowfield are "like mid-winter" and it looks great for this weekend. 12. Are you selling the NOS one or the used one ? Same as the photos you sent? With bomber sticker on it? Thanks, Bryan
  13. Hi, did you send me photos of this one along with an F2 Beamer?? Thanks, Same, same?
  14. Hey Jim, I would appreciate if you would pick mine up from Kevin. They are paid for. Thanks Kevin for scoring the bindings. Enjoy Bryan JIM -Only my Great Grandfather got away with calling me Byran. :) Kevin, depending on how many you scored. If you need to use some of the ones I bought to make sure Jim gets some? That is fine with me. He has a youngin we need to get "Slidin" too. Time to start the "Mini Bomber" gallery (large grin) Would it not be rippin to have a number of Pacific Northwest Expression Sessions spaced out over the winter? Sign me up.
  15. Hi Kevin, I'll take a few pair? Thanks, Bryan
  16. Welcome ubermom! few Women or Young riders post here at BOL. So, it is a real treat to have someone so young interested in the Alpine snowboard design and methods. Don't miss the great articles written about the subject here at BOL. The authors are both riders and frequent the message board. Typically they are very helpful and eager to share the sport. The smaller sizes are limited in availability , however they are out there. I would be happy to help you locate some equipment. True alpine boards (i.e. narrow waisted, directional , long running length "Edge-contact") are fairly easy to find and there is a supplier on Ebay that has a pretty deep supply of Burton race boards in the smaller sizes. Often selling for under 100$ brand new. His Mondo point , or metric sole length would be helpfull. Email me and I will send you some links off the BOL message board. Ask your "Mini-Shredder" to post here some time. It would be a breath of fresh air to have someone of that age tell us why he want to "Carve" alpine style? Thanks, Bryan
  17. Hey Jim, The board and bindings are a done deal! Not sure about he boots. I am not sure you will say "Sweet" after a few runs on that slab, but I would definitely buy tickets to "The SHOW" :) We where much younger men then. I will send out some "feelers" and work the ski/snowboard show pretty hard. Lets see if we can narrow down the time frame. Like some time after we can expect a decent snowpack of 50" or better, not conflicting with any of the other events and good time for those that want to help. I am fairly flexible on date and I am happy to schedule some time off. You know me though. Just don't ask me to stand around long? I WANT TO RIDE!! I am used to being there early. Now with the later start time that should help too. I'll be getting a help page together on the site , local hotels, maps, links, blah, blah , carve, blah :o . Sound good? Let's make it happen. Bryan
  18. Hey Tim, sent you an email. My group is full, however I am always happy to put folks together to make up additional groups. Sweet deal!! I will try to give you a call soon. I know Jim M is in the market and I will be happy to send folks your way till you are full. Enjoy!! Bryan
  19. TES and MES? One for the Spring, one for the Winter? Mt Hood Meadows is the place during the winter at Mt Hood. Why wait till Spring? Perhaps throwing in a well placed session at Mt Hood Meadows could be just the thing?? New High speed quad this year. Making it 5 HS Quads. Starting to look like a real resort. Fairly cheap hotels in Portland (1-1/4 hrs away) or even Hood River 45 minutes away (easy drive, beautiful country side. I was thinking about bringing up a dozen vintage carving boards for an "Old School Dayz" Now that would definitely get some laughs , smiles and serious rubber neckin!! How many of you guys have actually ridden a "Stealth" Aggression or Kemper Bullet? Of course you may wisely never wanted to , but?. Could be fun.
  20. Hey George, makes sense to me! Thanks for "Business Smarts" view. Looks like you are a big time Winterstick fan! Nice! Baker , a two foot day and a WS swallow! Sounds like a plan!
  21. Ghostrider, occasionally the numbers come out in trade mags or perhaps company statements. I have found that companies are pretty tight lipped about production numbers. Those from the early years are of particular interest to me. However few are ever "given up". I believe that some companies have lost track or honestly don't know (early companies, many of which have long closed their doors) If you find a good source , please let me know. Another item of interest is un-crypting serial number systems. Some are obvious , many are not. They can hold clues as to how many were made. One must understand the manufacturers point of view when asking. They may have good reason for not disclosing the numbers. Just a thought. Bryan
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21248&item=3695396222 Chances are you could snipe them for the starting bid plus shipping if you are patient. It is Salty Peaks snowboard shop in SLC. He is my competition for old boards , however it helps out another carver it is worth it. Just don't say I sent you!! :) Bryan
  23. Interested, please send photos . Thanks,
