  1. I stand corrected mine is a Burton Wire Circa '97 I'd guess.
  2. May have the first or 2nd year Burton Coil available after the new year. Blueish color scheme. Edges never ground, base is in great shape.

    TD3 Disk trade

Sorry been away from the riding a bit. Bad knees from years of pounding the pavement. I have 1 six degree and 1 3 degree plate. I was thinking about going flat (zero) for both front and back. My quads are pretty weak and I get the "burn" often and tire quickly. Right now I have 6 in the front with lots of tow lift and the 3 in back with less toe lift. I'm not 100% sure going zero for both is the way to go but willing to give it a try.

Looking for 0 degree TD3 disks. If anyone has them and is looking to trade let me know.

    FS: Donek Incline

    Built for rider weight?
  6. Thanks for the reply. I think I'll pass. I was thinking of this for my wife. I'm not sure she's aggressive enough to ride this. Looks like a sweet board.
  7. Work with soft binding? What's the rider weight range?

    TD2 Step-ins

Have these been picked up yet?
  10. How much for the size 3? Feel free to email me.
  11. Donek makes great boards and the fact that it sounds like you'd be ordering in the off peak part of the year you could get your hands on one relatively quickly. I didn't see Coiler on your list and you mentioned that you were impressed with "dampness". I would look at their boards and read the reviews. I've ridden various models of all the boards you've mentioned and was impressed by both Donek and Coiler more than any other on your list.
  12. So I can compare... How tall are you? Your Inseam? Also, any "spenders" :)
  13. Anyone have images of this board? It's the board that got me to stop slamming when I was learning to board. Greyish/white with confetti type top sheet. It was a rougher top sheet.
  14. Just curious if anyone's got a soft freeride board with some intec bindings they'd be willing to part with relatively cheap. I only care about base intact and edges that can be sharpened. Want something easy turning and something I won't care about getting dinged up during lessons. I'm hoping some funny pics get posted too as I could always use a laugh. thanks
  15. More like boulder creak at the time. It's been over 13 yrs since I've been there.
  16. I could probably find out for sure but that doesn't sound right. I remember the mechanical bull too at a local bar.
  17. CO: Vail Beaver Creak Copper A-Basin Keystone Breckenridge Utah: Brighton Snowbird Idaho: small one outside Pocotello??? Wyoming: Jackson Hole Grand Targee Wisconsin: Granite Peak/Rib Brule Tyrol Basin Pine Mountain White Cap Nordic Sunburst Hidden Valley Calumet the garbage dump in Oshkosh before they let us board on the hills...does that count? Michigan: Black Jack Powderhorn Indianhead and the dunes on the east side of Lake Michigan sand boarding...not sure if that counts either???
  18. I don't have any issues with my smart play list. Have you tried a hard reboot and or making sure that your soft/firm ware is up to date both on itunes and the phone itself? Another app you two might consider is simplify. It used to be free I think it's $2 now, but you install it on the phone and on your pc/mac. It allows you to stream your music library to the phone over any internet connection (edge included). Every once in a great while there is loss that occurs but it's so rare and they've done lot's of updates to it since I downloaded it last July. Good Luck!
  19. good stuff. Imnleaning toward the Honda as the wife likes the sun roof. We're also used to how they drive. Sienna is tempting and has more votes???
  20. Thanks guys for the input. Sounds like I should look a little closer at Toyota's. I did look at the Sienna and the interior in my opinion didn't look much different than a Chrysler mini...a little bit better parts but ergonomically not much different. Keep the comments coming...especially you mechanics out there. Thanks again!
  21. I was looking at GMC Acadia, and a Trailblazer, but the on line reviews weren't that great and others have told me reliability isn't all that good. Interesting that the Volvo is getting more votes and the Odyssey none. I really wish the plastics and other parts in American cars were beefier (like a TD!!!). I've been pretty impressed with the swedes and their stuff.
  22. Need a new family ride to replace the trusty Honda Odyssey. Choices are: 2006-2008 Honda Odyssey Toyota Tacoma Honda Pilot Toyota Sienna Volvo XC90 Subaru Tribeca B9 Need to haul two big dogs, 2 kids, wife, and gear. Having the ability to haul kids friends is pushing me toward the minivan but will adjust if I have to...Most votes is my pick.
  23. I'll work on mechanics and then see if I can get more video up for additional input. I only thought that getting rid of the outward cant would help me turn more toward the nose of the board by not fighting my hips. Agreed that I shouldn't worry about cant, but if it's working against natural body mechanics thought it should at least be considered. Maybe I should just go flat and call it a day?
  24. Thanks everyone for the posts and explanations. Please continue if you have anything else. I may have to get to the massage therapist to open up a bit. I have serious inward shoulders due to years of poor posture, in addition my flexibility is horrible; always has been. I think I earned an 8 on the sit and reach when my friends were well in the 30's; if that gives you any clue. I did have some outward cant on the rear foot which did eliminate the wash out, but still didn't feel I was getting as low as I did in the past. I honestly do try hard to bring up the trailing hand, but agree after stopping and starting the video that it's late. I reduced the outward cant on the rear foot and went more with 6* lift only to try and get to facing the board more. I was thinking of taking out the 3* toe lift on the front foot and just going flat? I'll work on grabbing the front toe and opening up the shoulders so I'm more perpendicular with the boards edge during the turn. Thanks again for all the advice...much appreciated!
  25. It also looks like I'm sitting on the toliet. How to correct that? I'm definitely seeing the tucked shoulder. Guess I'm a little gun shy of catching the arm on a heel side again. Thanks again guys
