  1. I'll be taking my 325T back to the boot fitter (well respected in the area) for the 3rd time. I have major heel pain on right foot. I've put on heel hold down adhesive thinking I was getting lift but after 1.5 hours the pain still returns. By 4-6 hours I'm almost in tears. $169 for liners I'd hoped would work with old shells (too small) and now $500+ for these new one's I'm getting discouraged for the 1st time in 20 years riding hard boots (Burton, Raichle/Deeluxe, & Heads) in the past. I love everything about the new boots but the heel area. Going to try and get to the fitter again today or tomorrow in hopes of getting this resolved.
  2. OMG! I have the EXACT same issue with the same boot.

    Steamboat

Anyone out there in bomber land ridden Steamboat? I'm going out last week in March with some friends and curious if there's good carving runs. Also bringing a Donek Wide out with plates as I've heard the trees are good there. Hoping for powder but groomers will be fun too.
  4. I just talked to the manager of Les Moise in Mequon, WI and he was saying they've ordered a few Doneks for locals. About 1-2 weeks later on a lift a young rider said he too admired carving, rode a Donek free ride board, and raced SL and BX with softies. Carry the cards that Bomber gives out with orders and give them out regularly. Cheers!
  5. Rat traps! Nice. I have a friend that has the 1st year of these along the original Alp 157.
  6. It came today (6 days early)...dang is it light. I was a bit worried about the size but I think I picked it perfectly. Super happy with the color, all the pockets and the reinforcements throughout the jacket. Here's to it lasting 10+ years like my Marmot. I appreciate everyone's feed back.
  7. Hope I didn't make a mistake not going with the whiteline series. Was also looking at the sidewinder but it was more than what I could get the SVX for.
  8. I just picked up one of these for $450 plus shipping (yet to arrive). Anyone have experience with Arc'teryx - specifically the Theta series? I've been using an almost 20 year old Marmot Alpinist Lite and it's become way more breathable the last 5 years - it was time to replace. The only feature I can see that's missing compared to my trusty Marmot is the powder skirt.
  9. Cool Guys! Thanks for the comments. Pointing out the gap helped. I do have Bomber butter but haven't put it on the pins, but will before I ride next.
  10. I transferred Fintec heels from Head Stratos to Deeluxe 325 boots. The sole length is a little longer on the new Deeluxe boots so I adjusted the toe/heel of the TD3 Sidewinder accordingly. The left (outside pin - I ride regular foot) on my front foot doesn't seem to protrude from the heel receiver as much as it did with the old boots or as much as the inside pin of the same foot (nor the two pins on the right foot). I wouldn't think the boots would make a difference but a little nervous to ride these. I tried to take a picture to show this. Hoping people could take a look and give me some advice. - Cheers.
  11. It was my wife's board 154cm. For a board from'99 it's in great shape. Some top sheet scuffs here and there (lift or being in roof box with other boards). The base is clean and was waxed 2-3x a year. There may be 1-2 light scratches but no core hits or anything deep. She road it maybe 5-10x per season. The edges have plenty of metal having never been ground. They're not as bright as new and could be cleaned up a bit but were lightly tuned. Never ridden in a park, always on the trail.
  12. I'd be open to a trade. I'm not a collector, but do like old Powell Peralta stuff (anything with the art work).
  13. Up for sale are a pair of Carrier bindings. Best offer plus shipping. Would be a nice addition to an old school Burton M6, 1st-3rd generation Burton PJ. I don't have the mounting bolts or cant plates - sorry. What you see is what you get.
  14. Also selling Deeluxe Indy's M25 with 5 position locking mechanism but would come without heels.
  15. Boots still available as they didn't fit the original buyer and I agreed to take them back. (hopefully they'll attest to the good shape they're in). Modified/Cut Head Stratos Pro Mondo 25 with Raichle 5 position mechanism. Will include new Deeluxe/Raichle standard heels. $85 plus shipping. Also have DC131 purchased in December 2015 that were molded once and ridden once. $85 plus shipping.
  16. Is this a regular or more athletic fit? I'm 6' with a very skinny 180 lbs (all in my stomach, waist, and chest) build. Thoughts on fit?
  17. Came from Head Stratos Pro. I'm second owner and have never ridden with them. I can't speak for original owner but they look to be in good shape. Colors are Black, red, and grey. Can snap pics if need. They aren not power wrap but have a separate tongue.
  18. Totally want this...just no $ at the moment. Been watching this daily to see who the lucky person that snags this up.
  19. quality control may be an issue according to amazon reviewers.
  20. http://www.headphonesunboxed.com/ski-helmet-headphones/ Reviewed pretty high....
  21. Thanks Al. We may be up in Bessemer on the 26th-30th (if the man made snow holds). I'm not counting on it, and may pack the family in the car and head to Colorado for a few days. Santa is sending the ThermFlex 131's. I'm wondering if I can just let the natural heat from feet/riding mold them and not cook them. I too have narrow feet but prefer more space in the toe box. Les Moise did my last pair 10-12 years ago. Maybe I'll see you up at Indianhead some weekend this winter. Cheers!
