  1. +1 for "Pi$$ her off a lot", as long as you have the budget. xy9ine gave you all the reasons you need to know to make the decision: "newschool metal, decambered, vsr awesomeness" is well worth the extra coin.
  2. A modern metal board with decamber is worth EVERY penny. My riding improved by leaps and bounds once I got on a metal coiler, it's just that much more forgiving than any glass board that I rode prior to it. Article below explains the difference in technology very well. http://www.bomberonline.com/resources/Bomberfiles/the_new_hotness.html
  3. Pius: Great riding with you yesterday! Will drop a line on this thread the next time I head up! Until next time! Goro
  4. Long shot, but wanted to see if anyone has a White Top Kessler for sale in good condition, with 4x4 pattern, looking for a 168 or up, but please email me if you have anything for sale. Ideally for rider around 170lbs. Thanks! goro / grock5 grock555 at gmail dot com
  5. I ordered an Incline from Sean as soon as he started to build them with VSR & Decambered nose & tail. It is an Incline/Wide with a 26cm waist, 9-11m VSR & the old-school white topsheet with the crown Donek Logo, my very first "New" board that was built for me. At first, I was riding this board with bindings & freestyle boots from about 10 years ago, with & without Palmer Risers, and it just did not feel right. I just didn't have enough support & leverage to fully utilize the flex & shape of the board. Prior to this season, I invested in some more recent bindings & a pair of Salomon Malamutes, and my oh my, what a difference a stiffer interface makes in the performance of this board. The board can rip both short & longer carves with confidence, has a nice "pop" off the tail inbetween turns, initiates turns with ease, and I don't bother with the risers any more. This board is a keeper. You will not see this board in the "For Sale" section anytime soon!
  6. SOLD! PS: Buyer is looking for bindings: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?39342-Bindings-TD2-or-TD3-or-F2-Titanium
  7. Email sent last night. Please pm me if you did not receive it.
  8. Was there from 830a, condition was quite nice today, the entire width of Snowpark was groomed & they received 3 inches of fresh snow past night. It did warm up a bit & slowed a bit, but really had fun turning all morning. Have fun to tomorrow! It should be another nice day!
  9. I'll be there tomorrow. Hopefully the Ravens parade will keep some peeps at home! Woo Ravens!

  11. This came through my Facebook Newsfeed a couple of days ago through SG. http://vimeo.com/56850160
  12. Hi Everyone! I'm going to try WT on Sunday AM. (Issues with new home may squash that plan...) How's the base there? Goro
  13. I don't know if you already checked, but Venture seems to have their demos for sale on eBay under seller "venturesnow".
  14. jtslalom: I'm curious about Status, but there's not a lot of info out there aside from their website. What do you know about them, especially who presses their boards? The Rocker profile & sidecut tech looks a lot like Never Summer...
  15. I grew up skiing, went to college in upstate NY in 92. In winter of 93, both my roommate & friend happened to be Hardbooters, and as soon as I saw one of them putting down euro-carves on his 190 Rossi, I said I them I need to learn how to do "that". I spent a few weeks on a borrowed GNU Vertigo, and as soon as I was carving turns, I ordered a Sims Freecarve, and that was the true beginning of my hardbooting addiction :)
  16. Thanks to everyone for your replies! We’re reaching out to Recruiters & contacts to see what we can dig up, but we were curious as to the overall legal market in the area. We're just trying to feel out what the market looks like for Associate level attorneys (3-5 years experience out of law school). She has great credentials & focus on healthcare & IP/Trademark law, and experience working for the Federal Government within agencies that handle healthcare & insurance issues.</SPAN>
  17. Hello! So, my wife & I are contemplating a move to the Denver area, as an opportunity arose for me at my current employer. I am very excited about the opportunity, both for professional reasons, and for selfish reasons as well... We're starting to look into whether this is something that we can do at this time, but our main question & concern that we had was whether we can get my wife employed in Denver within a reasonable amount of time. Can anyone give me an idea of what the job market in Denver looks like, both overall, as well as specifically in the legal field for associate level attorneys? Thanks!
  18. +1 I think the 168-175 length is a good range for east coast conditions, although I would love something longer on days that I can really open it up!
