  1. Definitely a picture of power and precision, love the white smoke!
  2. Selling bottled O2 will never work, it'd be like trying to sell bottled water or something.
  3. that is one hell of a view, I could go for a full res picture of that too if you're sendin'em out
  4. Oh man, me too! I don't care how short the lifespan it, something grippy and less ice/snow attracting would be just great.
  5. I think fintecs are better for actually snowboarding, intecs are better for walking (less slippery) and on days with sticky snow.
  6. things seem faster to me after a few beers, maybe you're just feeling the illusion of speed? Because it's odd that you'd perform a precision exercise better after a beer.
  7. Nothing wrong with glass boards but if you've got the coin, what is wrong with easier to turn, better grip, & less chatter?
  8. Some of us would just like to know how your day went... )
  9. I'm not a violent person but there could have been a "crime of passion" there really easily....
  10. There's a lot to like here but let's just say in 9 years I hope to have a custom carving board too :)
  11. Really a shame that mass transit is more expensive than just driving...but I guess that's just how it goes. I wish I could have ridden on it once.
  12. LOL, it's a new meaning for the expression "Gilmour bias".....
  13. I've already gotten more out of this than the 10$ I paid for the "carved circle video" Good luck guys :)
  14. 5 days ago Sun Valley flat-out rocked with 10" of fluffy goodness.....ah the memories....
  15. I'd go over $1K...if I had the time to use it. It's not the money, it's the time!
  16. Sounds like Chris was trying to get some kind of end to the meeting, too bad his boss wasn't having anything to do with it.
  17. started skiing in 1974, it's still my first love :)
  18. Just had to get on the fun...
  19. I'm on a prior designed by mort, about 23cm wide, has metal construction but no early rise, 175cm, I'm 200# and like the way the board rides. I like the idea of getting a little more active with extension and retraction. I'll give it a try tomorrow, I'm encouraged by most of you saying it's doable. Today we were at Dollar Mt. for about 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon with super duper flat light, pretty tough conditions. Tomorrow..back to the big mountain! Thanks guys :)
  20. So back around chicago we've got moderate groomed terrain and short runs. Today at Sun Valley we got 10" of fresh stuff on long, steep runs so it was a little different than our normal conditions. My brother was buzzing along on his big mountain skis no problem but I was bouncing around all over the place in the cut up chop. I was able to stay loose and keep my upper body pretty quiet but the board just hopped, skidded, and jumped all over. Now I know that an alpine board and hard boots aren't maybe ideal for these conditions but are there any tricks to cutting thru it better? Or is it better to just get on some fatty skis and wait to rip the carving stick another day? Thanks :)
