  1. great pics! last week i saw signs like this every day from me too...ohh winter holidays...!they are holy-days:ices_ange
  2. and a 'secret' from me; right after sölden you find 'hochgurgl-obergurgl'. i was last week for the 5th time there. excellent steep slopes, fresh every morning, less crowd than every where else i know so far. and, please don't tell any one... gimme a call when you're in reach of switzerland! maybe i can steel some time to take a ride with you guys! roman
  3. i'm glad you're not hurt! horror szene...plastic is fantastic, hmm? luckily there are any bindings out there without this problem! ride on dude!
  4. OH BOY! i would like to see your very first turns on that monster in carbon! you'll like it that much, your family will be scared that they will never see you again at home so long there is some snow laying on the hardpack.... keep on riding dude, your infected now forever:biggthump
  5. all i can say is, try a few lenghts yourself! one loves the longer rides and other just the opposite... i get over many lenghts to find out i prefer longer stiks... don't be shy to try:biggthump
  6. i was doing some 'lay-downs' on a brand new virus hurricane ultimate, on a wide open glacier resort. a sixth sence get alarmed and i tucked my head between the knees (in full carving modus..!) when a totally out-of-control telemark beginner used me as a kicker, sailed over the glacier and detonated on the slope, maybe 20meters below. at this time we were 5 (!) people on the really big glacier... he broke one ski stik on my helmet and killed the deck on the nose... at least no body gets hurt:freak3:
  7. this one got style! even in the living room....
  8. hey princess! my girl rides a virus storm. 156 long and a sharp, progressive sidcut but not too hard flex. turns really easy and carves (like all virus) very stable. i know 5 woman that have the same rides. looks it's kind like a 'lady-carver'.
  9. i get very often asked about 'my sport' on the slopes. mostly from skiers and ski-teachers. often there grows a good conversation about alpine snowboarding and modern boards. i like it when it happens that way...
  10. uuups:o this way i believe i would't do any turns at all...! time to times i suffer a inverted 3. too.... are we getting older or what:freak3: NO:eplus2: ride on!
  11. hey! nice done! mhmm, if i should give you a tip; try to turn your hips on the backside turn with you. (means not stick your butt out.) you would gain more edge hold and preciser steering. but very nice frontside!
  12. had to repeat this; no board works for every body equal 'easy' or 'on every slope'. my board is definetly the GLADIATOR ZYLON. 175 long, 17.5 in the middle and a really sexy progressive sidecut. of corse this is no deck for a rookie in alpine carving. but it will take you to other levels...
  13. even i don't know you bruce (till date..!), all the best to get quick ready to rock again!
  14. somebody know 'hooger-booger'? a swallowtail with short bolt-on edges? i will try post a picture of that original. shure you'll like this 'beautie'....

    Longboarders

i have i cloude 9 - 1,20m long in my garage. wich i no more use since i have a original 'carveboard'. this thing really carves the pavement. makes summer also a good time! love that thing; special trucks, really slicks with airtubes, impossible to touch the deck with the whells or the street. www.carveboard.com
  22. still like the tips given on tool-tonic.com also the tools therefor are topnotch!
