  7. wow, this one really looks great man!!! but, it seems i am the only one with the following problem; often i touch the snow with my chin or even the nose (sometimes a bit painfull yes, when the slopes are really icy...). so when i ride with a helmet with chinprotector, it strokes the helmet backwarts and push the goggles down. so no more sight! has this 'mt' helmet a special form or fit? roman
  8. you're right man! no question 'bout that...! my english could't describe it this good. seems we are doing the same turns in the snow! ride on. roman
  9. it isn't as easy as it maybe looks... even we can't aford to do trips like that all year or every year. but, SHURE I'M GOING MAD EVEN THINKING ABOUT MY HOLIDAYS !!!!! thank you all for the inputs, especially the ones for smaller and maybe less known lifts. keep on posting please! also, it would be very nice to meet some of you there on the slopes:biggthump roman
  10. ..if you aren't wearing one cause you are saying 'i can watch myself', wear one because the other on the slopes who don't watch the others...! i never go out on the slopes without it. roman
  11. i always ride with persimmon colors. it's some kind of a light orange, designed for not so good light. they give me enough sun protection and i always have a good sight when wether isn't so nice as we always want it to be...! roman
  12. ...well, a active flexion/extension lightens the weight that is currently on the carvin edge. actually the change of direction is made, when you rotate the body befor or after the flexion/extension and bring the needed weight on the other edge to carve again...it's the way i snowboard! roman
  13. ye, i also think the problem is this board dont want to do bigger radius carves. depends on the relatively small radius it has. if you want a board that can handle all kinds of carve sizes, look out for one with a progressive sidecut. so you can choose your turnsize while in the carve by simply shifting weights. roman
  14. ..check this out, the best sharpening tool i ever used: www.tooltonic.com ride on, roman
