  3. as i always say; do some sports or - stay healthy..! feel so sorry for all you guys who wrote in this thread. wednesday last week, i also was again in hospital. got some titan plate and screws put together with a piece of transplanted bone from my hip. a nothing at all healed collarbone fracture was hopefully finally fixed now. last march i was shoot from behind and took a hard landing. they fixed it with a nail. nail comes out early and would removed. after i builded a 'nice' pseudo arthrosis with 1,6cm space between broken bone pieces. final bad diagnosis came out last september. hope this new OP's heals now..... for my motivation, i will get a new gladiator-2, evo3 the next week... wish u all the best
  4. hey max, what's up with you? healthy again??
  5. i would say, first clean them and then put in some grease...
  6. from my personal experience, best against shinbang are the boosters and the shintronics. this two things worked wonders for me. i recommend to try, it's also a cheap upgrade in materials. cheers
  7. oh no dude! i'm just fightnig back after a anklebone disruption in november... hope yours isn't that bad... heads up!
  8. now it's exactly 11 weeks since a foot injurie that has kept me from snowboarding. today i stood on my trusty carveboard and did the first 'carves'. once again, WOW! :D this thing rocks and makes so much fun. it's such a perfect training tool for snowboarding, for working for a comeback on real snow! looking forward now to go carving (at least have a try) on sunday next week!
  9. flims is a really cool place to digg some serious trenches. more famous from the superpipe they have, but there are some sweet'n steep blacks too. if sometimes any one does the trip over here - be welcome and feel free to drop a message. with car it's about 2h from my place or 20min to zürich for a catch up.
  10. ..i know, i know. sorry for asking :o. be sure, I AM into plates. a friend of mine asked me if i knew something 'bout i described above. 'cause i saw one or two threads about softie stuff here i thought maybe i can give it a try too... - never will do it again, i promise..
  11. does any one knows a softboot that comes without a liner? like the ones from nidecker or burton back in the old days? or, wich one u think is the most soft boot? thx everbody, roman
  12. if you wanna meet with some other alpine riders move to sölden. there are always a bunch of them. in full season (like now) i would go up to the glaciers, rettenbach is the worlcup slope
  13. it's my longtime vavorite, the virus gladiator zylon
  14. have you tried to reach them directly?
  15. normally i go with 1-2 times fully (stone)grind the base a season and a weekly treat with the diamonds to keep'em sharp. for me it works best that way in the swiss alps.
  16. well done dude! heal fast and come back soon
  17. i'm shure there are some good ones out there. but none i know is as good as any of the tooltonics. specially the 'roto-finish' works awesome.

...i hope to may throw away this f*** 'footthing' this friday at the doctors....hoping so much.... you're right, sometime this will be history. BUT SNOW IS LYING NOW AND LOTS OF IT AND I WAITED, WORKED AND TRAINED THE WHOLE YEAR TO GO SNOWBOARDING NOW...... sorry for freakin out.....sometimes it just pi*** me off having another injury after several surgeries, like you got too....

    :(

man, so sorry too to read about your injury. this really sucks... wish you a very fast and good recovery dude! like any of us, me too know exactly how you feel; almost 9weeks ago, in a relatively fast and long rightside carve, full pressure from me to the board, full pressure from the board to the legs, without any crash or something like that, there was a light and short 'chatter' from previous carves laying in the snow. for a very short moment i felt a little lightning-like pain in my rear foot. thats it, i got a bone-tore (don't know if its translated right..)....
  20. i know from good results with formable insoles.
  21. kex, i would say find a store who has some 'normal' liners (no thermos) and try again. i'm feeling similar in thermos, but no problem with the standard liners. plus i use the 'shintronics', a very cool thing if anyone has real problems with shin pain.
  22. :(...guys, due to a broken bone in my rearfoot (regular stance, you now ;)), i couldn't make it one more time to the SES........ wish you all e very big snowparty and hope to see ya next year!
