Ladia
Istvan, which model is it?
Istvan
Well, it's a custom one, or more precisely it started as a prototype but never made it to become standard. Why? I have my own theory on this, but I might be wrong, so don't want start a debate with my opinion. It was named ME109 (see my signature) after a second world war bomber aircraft. And it behaves just like its name.... It is wide enough to allow lower angles, it is very stiff, but reactive, responsive, progressive, huge camber - so sometimes scares the hell out of me.... ;-) If you are below 90kg, or you don't have the minimum speed, forget about really bending it. But on steeps it really rocks. Once you push it into the snow/ice, it's like a carving machine.... Kindest, István

Ray
Ray,What has happened to your Gladiator Zylon. If you still have it, I am interested. And why the Carbon version now? Is it that much different? Greets, Hans. Hans, The Gladiator Zylon is a demo board now. It's currently at the WTC and than at the SES. Not sure it we sell it and how it will look after all the demo days. The “Ultra Carbon” is a new material I am testing in Aspen during the SES. It is different, but can’t tell yet, first have to ride it. Ray

Shred Gruumer
The Ju-87 Stuka dive bomber was the classic precision bomber which provided very effective "airborne artillery" support to the rapidly advancing columns of German tanks in their Blitzkrieg tactic. Its main disadvantage was that it was a slow and easy target for enemy fighters. Unlike high altitude level bombing, which was not precise, and unlike low altitude precision attacks with guns and rockets which became more popular later in the war as those smaller air weapons became more powerful, dive bombing was highly effective since the beginning of World War 2 for many types of precision attacks, such as cutting roads, smashing bridges, destroying supply convoys and installations, attacking ground forces of all types, cracking fortified positions and tanks, even sinking ships of all sizes. It remained the precision bombing method of choice much later after World War 2 until it was gradually replaced by using guided bombs and missiles for precision air attacks The Me 109 was one of the world's great fighter planes, and it enjoyed the distinction of having been built in greater numbers than any other; some 33,000 were built. It was mass-produced in Germany from 1936 through 1945, and it was built in other countries after the War, serving in Spain until 1967. The Me 109 originated in 1934 in a four-way competition for a modern fighter design to be used by the brand-new Luftwaffe. Although it was intended to use the new 610hp Junkers Jumo inverted V-12 engine, when it flew in September 1935, the Me 109V-1 prototype had to use an upright 625hp British Rolls-Royce Kestrel engine. Though it differed little in outline from the new monoplane fighters that were being developed in other countries, the Me 109 was almost revolutionary in its use of a greatly simplified, all-metal structure for mass production and ease of maintenance in the field. Below is the stuka!!

Ladia
I read here about Dragster, so I have a couple questions. I still consider it as possible candidate for all mountain board. Second one is Prior 4WD 164 after my recent testing. About Dragster, it is 19.5 wide and I would like about 21cm. I found it to be the most suitable width for all terrain board. 23 cm is too fat for me. I know; that Virus likes to be ridden fast, faster the better behaves. I tried my Rocket at moguls and it was not good. Between moguls and tree speed is very slow for it. So my questions, how Dragster behaves in slow snail speed? Does anybody know what side cut radius is? Again I am looking for smaller one 9m for tight trees riding. How the tail on this board is, flat or does have some lift? Any information appreciated. I will be at Aspen and hope to try some more Viruses and talk to Frank about some custom board.
Ray
I will be at Aspen and hope to try some more Viruses and talk to Frank about some custom board. ar(angel
The ME109 was a great plane, Eric Hartmann amassed 352 kills in this model alone, but I still favor the "Butcher Bird" over it. God only knows we'd probably all be speaking German right now if the Fuhrer would have put the ME262 into service when his Luftwaffe had told him to do so. Ah, German engineering, where would we be without it? ;) Danke, Paul
Chris Houghton
Shred, there's some scratches in the topsheet of the WCR 80. If you ship it to me I can have them professionally buffed out for you, and ride tested of course. Need to make sure that the snow and the cold won't bring them back out. A few days should be good for validation.
Istvan
Ladia, For an all-mountain board you might want to check the new BX model of the Free Carving Serie, 170cm length, 22,5cm waist width. Best, István
Shred Gruumer
At least you try!!!! ha! Well they look like scratches but its actually reflection.. I really need to take the pics in Day light but never make it home in the DAY time! right now I feel like a mole!! If I do see day light..does that mean 6 more weeks of winter? I did polish the board with liquid glass.. nice stuff.. Hey you making it down for the ECES? its closer to you now? Right said Shred
