ShortcutToMoncton
There is certainly no concern about your visibility.Β Great laid back riding session. Iβve never done a ton of night riding but when I have the trails were always pretty choppy from a daysβ worth of use. Looked like you had decent conditions so thatβs great.Β What camera? And did you need postproduction? Iβve got a relatively recent GoPro but I havenβt found low-light action movies to be nearly as nice as yours. WinterGold
@ShortcutToMonctonThank you! It is a GoPro 10. The problem is the frame rate in relation to the flickering of the artificial lights β¦ @softbootsurfer Appreciate it!

ShortcutToMoncton
I have a GoPro 6 Blackβ¦..I mean it doesnβt feel that old butΒ I like the frame rate flickering for this video to be honest, it adds an old-school vibe. I actually thought youβd added it post-production which is why I askedΒ
johnasmo
Shooting at 30 fps might help, but the camera uses a rolling shutter, so likely the 60 HZ flicker of the lighting will still affect some parts of frame.Β Might make it worse, as instead of having a strobe effect it might be dark bands scrolling through it.
WinterGold
@daveoI talked to a pro β¦ it is very difficult β¦ no real solution for amateurs β¦ just try different cameras or settings β¦ @ShortcutToMonctonIt is real time material, no after effects But I liked it as well @johnasmoit would help a little, but I thought that I would use slo mo, so I shot with 120FPS and then did not use it
Noobster
Love the commitment to high visibility. Not easy to put that together. I like your riding style!

Not sure if that will work for you or not though.

pokkis
Yep, when you film in 50Hz countries like Europe, you should select PAL that allows you select 50/100 etc frame rates, and if in 60Hz ones like US then select NTSC that allows you select 60/120 etc. Then you dont have any issues with artifical lights. If you shoot on sun only then it does not matter.
