I know the burrito packing method (two layers of cardboard tightly wrapped). I have someone from Nova Scotia Canada that wants a board and I am in Southern California. But, How does one determine brokerage fees on the items coming to the US. Have a couple of boards I checked on for a friend, but we are not sure if the fees to enter the US are going to be expensive. If you use the online click & ship to print the label, you will get a discount. They measure the girth, not width, of the box, combined with the length and it can not be more than 108 inches total. lowrider Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 You can call respective postal services USPS, Canada Post they can quote you on fees, import, customs duties, taxes etc. Also helps to know country of manufacturer. If buying a Coiler from someone in US there should be no import duties into Canada but there will be taxes. As a broad rule of thumb postal services in Canada and US usually charge twice what it would cost to ship within one's own country.
