(See picture) There was a dude and his kid on skiis about to get into the lift line, and this is the dialogue that happened between us... Kid: What is that? (pointing to my board) Dad: (he gives me the "wtf is that look") its a....snowboard..? Me: It's and alpine board, for carving. Dad: Okay... (still confused) Kid: Why are there skiis in the back? Been riding plates, split tip and tail boards and snowstix for years. Most comments are postive. Lots of questions and odd stares though. Boards with only plates have not really brough on very many questions. The narrow boards with plates , yes. Snow Stix, yes. I've been thinking about splitting my LLBean kildyflex for BC but modding the plate and removable uphill hardware would be complicated.
