skategoat
Did you notice who was the second rider in the YouTube clip? I was thinking he would have to be one hell of a rider to follow that close behind at those speeds.

WinterGold
There are some great videos here! Especially the "matiurossbuono"!!! Your stance really does look a bit narrow - like the boards ... If you want to advertise your boards here, can´t you tell us a bit about your shape philosophy (different lengths, widths, kind of radii, decambered areas, etc.) and your preferred construction (metal?)? That would be nice !
matiu68
my shape philosophy....I started shaping boards in 1986 with friends, in 1987 we built the first narrow board was 22 cm in the middle, in 1989 with i decide to build a board 16 cm, cause my really small feet (size 5) the stance was (is) 60° 55° 39cm. After that I try a lot of different shape, taper, 22m radius, different lengths from 170 until 190, all this with TROPICAL TUBE Italian boards crafter. In 1995 I quit develop boards with TT, and i move to another company...boaring to have always the same kind of board in 1998 I built the first SQUARE NOSE ever 10 years in advance with the "new school" company. 3 years ago I decide to craft my prototipes in my garage, KAANE boards, the shape of my nose is not decambered, because i dont need it, about metal cons, i'm trying now some new fiber add with metal. This is a little part of my history..............more info will come cheers
Snowman
I think its appearent that Andrea has been riding alpine and riding it very well for a very long time so, think twice before critiqueing his style, stance or equipment. Consider him a master of the sport, because he is.
inkaholic
Since this thread started I had to go find my vid and watch the '93 SG from Breck. Killer riding on shorter boards for the speeds they were hitting. Good stuff! Lots of asyms. Ink
