Fastskiguy
How many days are on the Donek? Any picture of the bag? Thanks :) Joe
t.stoughton
The Donek has about 35 days on it. For a Donek board this is not that many. The board has plenty of "PoP." Here are a couple of pictures of the board and bag, plus the base is in very good shape!
t.stoughton
I recieved a request for the S/N of the Coiler... It does tell alot about the construction so I have upaded the orginal post and included it here: Coiler S/N T 177 AM 21.5 09ABS4 6 - 8+
D.T.
For anyone that is concerned about Tony's low post count, I will vouch for him, he's my neighbor. The Coiler has the "ABS" in the serial number because Tony bought the board through All Boards Sports. Yes, it is pristine. As for the Donek Tucker, it is a fun board and it rides great; it was mine before I sold it to Tony. ;) The only reason I sold it is because I was not riding it often enough. www.oldsnowboards.com
The Tucker looks familiar? Dustin, did you buy that from me? Great "Tweener" board. Carves the soft groomers, yet can rip the pow or hardpack when needed.

wrecker69
Hi, I am looking for a decent board to go out west with this year. Do you think the tucker would be a good all around board? powder and groomers? I'm looking for a good all mountain board, also, I am 6"3' 185. thanks
big mario
Hi, I am looking for a decent board to go out west with this year.Do you think the tucker would be a good all around board? powder and groomers? I'm looking for a good all mountain board, also, I am 6"3' 185. thanks That is a great all mountain board, narrow enough to rip on groomers while possesing enough float to keep a 215 pounder on top of over a foot of Colorado freshies. I am sure D.T. would have held on to it if he wasn't such a fickle board 'ho:D mario
wrecker69
you don't think I'm too light at 185 for this board? again, I'm still learning about length of board and weight etc, I'll be comiinng up from a
big mario
I think you will be just fine on the tucker, before he got the metal jones Tony was riding very well @ 170lbs on it, go for it, you will not be disappointed, mario
wrecker69
any idea how this would do in moguls or trees or should i avoid them with this? I'm going out west for first time and this might be what i need. how much approx shipping cost to wisconsin?
crucible
If you're solid with running gates and have mastered a jump turn on your Airawak with your hardboots, then you should be able to do it with this Donek. If you're hesitant about it, then i would suggest staying with a board that's between 167-175 in length... Geo

Geo i have never ridden in powder, so i assume the jump turn is something that is required in powder. I am from wisconsin, little hills and hard pack snow. BlueB
I think he was referring more to the trees and moguls... I 2nd that opinion, too. Open pow, yes, by all means, bigger board is better. However, in the tight situations, or really steep, stick to the smaller board.

We will see how it carves and floats. I'm kinda excited for snow now!
utahcarver
Tony: If the Flow binders are still available I'll take'em. I need a soft binder that's quick like a bunny for powder days this coming season. Mark I'll hit the call button in the a.m.
