jp1
Thank You. I never even thought about it, too many zero's for me! Seems some people have the same concept of spending that my Grandson has, just go to the MAC machine and get more when you run out. When I asked him what happens when the MAC machine runs out :( he said, "just print more everyone has a printer"! Pretty smart lil' bugger ain't he, I see a future president . mr_roboteye
A trillion is definitely a lot of money, but....here's me with over a million. The two big bricks on the top are each $100,000. I have $50,000 in each hand. The pile is mostly 1's on the top, but there's 5's, 10's and 20's as you go down the pile. PS: I don't look that young or skinny anymore later, Dave R. boarderboy
looks like the U.S.' approximate annual expenditure for defense and intelligence services it also looks like the amount of projected additional money "we can't afford" for ten years of reformed, near-universal health care ... Arclite
that looks like the amount of money the state of California is in debt for.
bobdea
yeah, in 2004 someone ran the numbers and if we cut our defense spending by half there would of been enough money to pay for a single payer health care system, still spend more on the defense than all other top five countries defense spending combined and run a budget surplus.
