I ride my orange Garmont Adrenaline AT boots in walk mode.  They still seem a bit stiff to me, and after a day or 2 of riding I'm getting a little bit of what folks here call shin bang I believe.  I do however think the stiffness is helping me to understand how to fine tune my inputs on the board.  I might try a heel shim in the back foot to give me a little lift, and I'm eyeing those eliminator tongues too.

I'm not sure that ski mode would even impart that much more stiffness.  I already tighten the booster strap on them and buckle them pretty good so my shins don't rub on my boot cuffs.  Maybe Ill try ski mode on the front foot.
