seantremblant
Here is a new product comming out. Not sure if it has any carving applications. Tremblant is thinking about getting a few to rent. www.hangboard.ca
Surf Quebec
From what i've seen in the video, you need to have perfect snow condition, even more than when carving. It is problably fun to try out.

kmartshopper
It looks like it could double as a traction support frame for your full body cast after that square support beam impales you in a crash. Seriously - does look a little fun - not pleasant to wreck in. ________ XTZ
willywhit
it needs a kite or a helicopter for more "lift"

Petrol
I foresee plenty of face, head & neck injuries from what otherwise would be simple liftline wear & tear
Kimo
Hey Riceball, don't you live next door to these guys? Looks like they've solved the burning quad problem, but all that arm steering is going to make it harder to drink beer at the end of the day. photodad2001
Am I the only one that sees the design flaw of having a large bar rising up between your legs while hanging suspended in a harness rocketing down a bumpy slope? John Gilmour
Go 65+ prone on skateboard. I got more sense as I got older...and after I hit a concrete divider at 35+. Even with that collision.(sprained wrist). I think you are better off on a road than on a slope. Street luge gives a better sensation of speed and without as much likelyhood for head injury. Oh... I had one of these Headfirst snow things many years ago... it was called a Flexible Flyer...a sled. ________ Guaranteed Asset Protection Insurance Forums
Dan
A year after we first talked about it, the Hangboard still looks kind of weak. I don't think I saw a single carved turn there. And park riding? What happens when you miss popping up onto a rail and hit it face first? Owww... Not to mention all the straightliners who now have a semi-valid excuse for claiming they couldn't see you after they run you down.
carvediem
I would like to give the hangboard a try not to mention that helicopter :)
