cail
awesome... how much does one of those cost.... i'm thinking about getting the RC.
peter_x
shipped it was US 638. That includes CAN $30 for for the custom template, since there weren't any templates for a 175 length FC. This was a "base model", without WCC or superboard construction. Bruce gave me the fast base free as it was the only he had left.
Allee
That's a sweet looking thing. LOVE the graphics!
Terryw
I have a board on orer from Bruce also. I was looking at the graphics he is using now, and I thought the maple leaves looked good. Nice to see it on an actual board. That just makes me want it now!!! So hard to wait.
Gleb
I'm in line for a december delivery for a metal board. Should be fun on the east coast ice. I'm going for a custom top sheet, and if possible, base aswell. Sketching images left and right trying to figure out what I want.
Mike T
Cool graphics! Might get that on my October-delivery Metal GS.
cail
thinking about getting a titanal over a std... you think the extra $200 is worth it?
Recon
Im waiting on two Coilers in sept. This graphic may end up on one of them! Thanks for posting it!
Mike T
thinking about getting a titanal over a std... you think the extra $200 is worth it? Depends on where you ride... if you ride on ice, imperfect grooming, or any run that makes you wish you could control your speed better more than 30% of the time, I'd say hell yes. To me, it's worth much more than $200. I don't see a lot of ice, but my favorite runs at Bachelor are not usually groomed that well and I wind up carving on runs that are a little narrower than I'd like often times (e.g., Downunder - the steep sections aren't all that wide) so the difference the metal makes is big. cail
i ride east coast... mainly vt, ma and ny i'm just going to go with the metal i think.
Gleb
thinking about getting a titanal over a std... you think the extra $200 is worth it? Hell, i'd pay $200 to not get an STD.
cail
hey Gleb, what model and length did you get?
Gleb
I got the itchy bandit 178. Its race ready equiped with miscellaneous red bumps and comes free with some clamidia. I got a 178 GS. He told me it'll actually turn out to be 181 but with a 13 meter scr. I can't wait to get it because my speedster GS has something like a 16 meter scr and its a little wide for some trails out here, but I love the stability at high speeds. I might switch it to a race carve II aswell.
Ernie00
Looks like Bruce has his work cut out for the next few months. I have a 180 RC on order for sept build ! Going for the for Super Board Technology on this one.
cail
hey peter, was that maple leaf design the standard, or did you do a custom?
peter_x
It was standard. Last year there was a similar pattern which was replaced by this pattern. I would have actually preferred the old one.
cail
thanks... i was only asking cause i'm doing a custom topsheet for mine, and i wanted to replicate the font, which was easier than i thought... it's Edwardian Script ITC. now i just gotta figure out a graphic for the tail end.
