kirtap
How does everyone do it? Do you use the diamond stones and just go over the edges or take a file to it?
Mike T
How does everyone do it? Do you use the diamond stones and just go over the edges or take a file to it? First run of the day does it for me - I stopped scraping wax off my edges years ago.
Fleaman
I have a small 90 degree notch cut out of the corner of my scraper and run it down the edges to peel off the wax.
jnshapiro
I don't bother. It wears off mighty quick once you hit the snow.
nekdut
Hate to say it, but I just give my edges a pass with my fingernail to get all of the wax off :p

Frank Morales
Yeh I rub wax on my sidewalls for a little extra rail love. I started doing it on my Swoard and now I do it to all my boards. It is a planing surface.
kirtap
Thanks for the stuff guys. I had heard about just riding with it on and it will come off, just didn't know so many people did it. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Pow
I do this on my race boards...every hundredth counts! Does this hurt edge grip at all? And does it help prevent you from locking into an unstoppable carve?
wavechaser
Does this hurt edge grip at all? And does it help prevent you from locking into an unstoppable carve? Doesn't affect edge grip or prevent against "locking in" - it's just applying a slippery substance to a part of the board that contacts the snow in a turn sometimes. It may only be psychlogical, as there is really no way to measure it - but there's nothing wrong with a psychological "edge"!
