  1. Looks like I'll be selling my UPZs. How much will the Indys be going for?
  2.:lol::lol::lol: You couldn't have done that better. You win the ultimate planker diss award for '06/07.
  3. I've never once heard someone say our technology is inferior after seeing a hardbooter carve. I think it definitely tells you something that when one of us is carving under the chairlift, almost everyone starts turning around to see us going down. I do love hearing people argue (both snowboarders and skiers) how the other group pushes all the snow to the side or down the slope. Its one of my fave conversations on the lift. Then I just point to the next skier/snowboarder going down the hill and 99% of the time, you can see snow getting pushed down or to the side. The only time you're not pushing snow around is when you're truely carving. /rant back on topic. Pow is right, hardbooters are taller than average. I don't see the problem with being short anyway.
  4. horizontally blessed!!!!:lol::lol: 5'11'' or so here. maybe add a half inch. Shorter people would have the advantage of maybe faster transitions...? Most carvers i've ridden with are just as tall or taller than me. Come to think of it, Angie might be the shortest carver I've seen. Ya those world cup guys...definitely need to ride those long boards to make up for their riding ability.
  5. not bad this year. Not bad at all.
  6. One time I lost an edge and I bruised my butt.
  7. Thanks man, its from after our first party where we got 200 people and a sh!t load of money. Last night we had 7 cops banging on our door with a patty wagon in the front. Good thing we have no doorbell and just ignored them. Looks like their catching on. With $100 for a lift ticket, the slopes will be empty! Can't imagine people wanting to pay prices like that with Cannon right down the road.
  8. I think its still pretty cheap for college students, like $240. Still, i'll have to throw a few keggers to cover that. My school is making me pay my fines from last year ($750) or else they'll give me a boot so i'm throwing as many parties as possible to get this fundraiser going. Enzo, you can sell your meds to cover the extra costs... just a thought
  9. was it you by any chance at loon today? I saw a woman on a burton alp.
  10. you guys are too weird. lol. I was there today to get some more work on the speedster in since it was some really easy carving. Started raining at 1 and the place cleared out. Not a bad day. They say they're going to close on the 15th but I doubt they'll make it past the 7th. make em count.
  11. I think I'll be there tomorrow at first chair.

I went to the summit lift after one or 2 runs and stayed there all day. I didn't really start carving till about 11 when it got really soft. It wasn't busy at all. we were there with the Youth Enrichment Services that were running the Mass Snow challenge. Angie, it was like waterskiing today. Extremely slushy. With these temps, wachusett wont last long at all. Snowing in boston now so I'm hoping its snowing out there too. I wish we went to NH today though. See ya guys around this season or next. I'm already getting psyced up for next year.

Saw two guys on plates today but I was busy teaching lil kids how to ride. Don't if it was you two. Someone was in UPZ but I didn't catch the board. I took my F2 silb and speedster out. The speedster is amazing in those conditions, I couldn't believe it. Maybe going again monday if NH isn't good.

    Crazy Canuks :)

steve has a good point. Thats cool though. Probably not usable in crowded areas or on rougher terrain. It'd be sweet to try. how do you get on a lift?
  15. "Whose that gay skier!?" I believe those were words that came outta your mouth when I was on my Atomics at WaWa. heal up man, and let us now how it goes. You can never know too many ways of going down a mountain.
  16. Glad you're enjoying the drugs. Thats sweet that they gave you morphine. Must've been a crazy surgery for them to put you on morphine at home. I've never been on it but I know its enjoyable. see ya next season.
  17. Definitely not a stupid question. Some boots might have a toe box or heal that might not be wide enough, or maybe the boot is just a hair too small. Thats when they put this hydrolic thing into the boot and I think heat it up too and stretch the boot just enough to make a difference. Basically, its to relieve hot spots on your feet.
  18. Sometimes I'm a huge fan of bumps too, but only after a few hours of hard carving.
  19. I've had my burton winds stretched a few times last year. It works.
  20. bartron, you go for it first:biggthump
  21. exactly what monday turned out for me 1. perfect groom (obviously) 2. Slush 3. Powder 4. ice (not even close to being good enough for it) 5. Grass
  22. lol! I don't think it’s the same guy. He was a younger guy with a reddish beard. The funny thing is that when it happened, all the other employees in the area didn't really act surprised or concerned. They were just trying to put the railing back up. It was in the lot behind the rental and day care center. He was so damn wasted and he was coming right for my car. His car looked fine though. From the looks of that, I highly recommend a Jeep Sahara to anyone. Alignment was definitely off though.
  23. God damn my back is killing me. But still a great day. Probably taking friday off to heal up. Glad you convinced me to take out the speedster. The day got so much better as it went along. Funny thing happend on my way out. I usually leave the keys in my car since i have a key pad to get in, but i accidently left the lights on so the battery died. Had to wait for AAA to get there at 5:30 or so. While he was opening the door, we see a huge jeep start burning out and going all over the place in the parking lot then all of the sudden slam through the metal railings on a walkway into a ditch against the building. Then the guy starts gunning the thing in reverse to get out. When he finally does get out, we all realize he's drunk off his ass. He stops, gets out of the car and just walks back to the maintance area...he almost killed someone. scared the **** outta me. Those crazy Loon employees...
  24. nice! now thats a good day. Well we stayed clear of having a party at our place since the landlord was forced to hire a security guard because we're a problem property, so we went 2 streets over and had a really good time. Cops came and just said, "We know everyone here is 21....but if we have to come back, we're bringing someone else to the station with us." We just stood there and said nothing since 90% of the people there weren't even 20. I didnt get too drunk because i was going riding the next morn 2 hours away, but i'm making up for it with a kegger tonight:biggthump post st. pats day parties rule!!! I kinda wish i saw the parade and I wonder what its like in ireland. Just another day?
