  1. awesome thanks, I didn't knwo there was thread already going.
  2. Awesome! I will definitely look for you. I got white poc helmet with blue jacket
  3. Just curious who is going to the event? I have been on this forum for while and now I finally get a chance to go this year. I see that there is schedule of where the demo tents will be but is it where everyone is meeting up in the morning? Although I can only be there for first 2 days but excited to meet fellow alpine snowboarders (which is quite rare occasion). See you all soon!
  4. I agree, I have experimented with stiff and soft boots as well. At first, I thought stiffer is better as I would think it is more responsive but I prefer softer boots set up now that i have experimented with softer one. I have RC-10 with red tongue (softest tonge) and spring system. Also added power strap plus. more of your personal preference.
  5. My question is "when are you start taking pre-orders"??
  6. Thank you for all your interest but it has been sold!!
  7. I am open to reasonable offer for the item, thank you. 1.) Allflex plate system that is medium flex Bought it brand new from Slovenia and used 3 days on the mountain. SOLD!!
  8. To be centered on the binding, the toe and heel block has to move forward. It is for both.
  9. As far as I know, when I bought it, they didnot ask me for my shoe size so I assume one size fits all. The only option is different toe bail design. Option 1 is made for northwave boots which not too many people has in US, and option 2 is for all other boots
  10. Upz boots require A LOT of bias towards toe. I made a mistake of not knowing that at first.
  11. Here is the picture of comparing F2 and SG binding below. I had it for about 10 days and rode it for 4 days on the slope. The constructions and adjustment of toe/heel blocks are very similar to F2. However, SG binding uses hex key for all bolts instead of Pozi drive in F2. I really like the hex key because it is less prone to stripping and the hex key is much more portable while out on the slope if adjustment is needed. As I wanted to try different setting, SG binding were much easier to adjust lift, cant shims than F2 bindings. Yes, you have to take it off from snowboard, however, you don't need to move the toe/heel blocks like in F2 binding which was super annoying when changing cant, lift shims. Also, SG bindings comes with 2 sets of both lift and cant shims (and longer screws) but F2 only came with 1 of each, hence, I had to buy another dealer as I ride both toe and heel lift. Construction of SG binding is very sturdy and well made. Comparing the plastic of F2 and SG, it is evident that SG uses better plastic construction than F2. SG binding is slightly heavier than F2 but it is very negligible difference. It is not overly stiff but still have that lateral flex people seek in F2 binding. I had problem with F2 binding dragging on the snow when I unclipped but i never have that problem with SG binding. When clipping in, the SG binding has better "snap" than F2 in my opinion but I guess it is subjective. The only downside is the cost. SG binding is about $100 more than F2 binding. But in my opinion, SG binding is worth it as it is easily adjustable, bit more stiffer than F2 but not as stiff as metal binding which is what I was looking for. Also SG snowboard company has one of the best customer service hands down, hence, for me that counts a lot. Even sigi chips into answer some of the questions.
  12. Hello all, I have mint condition SG Snowboard Force (16/17) - 164cm for sale. I planned on using this board as my soft snow/all mtn/powder board with hard boots when condition is not ideal for carving board but I decided to part way with it. This can be used with either hardboots or softboots setting. I only used for 3 days (not even full days) on the slope. Base is in perfect condition and topsheet only has small marks from mounting binding and scuffs. I bought it brand new for $900 excluding shipping from Austria this year. My loss is your gain!! Price: SOLD Thank you for looking!
  13. I have not tried the TD3 SW set ups yet. I was mostly working on the F2 bindings today. I am only using F2 lift/cant wedges and according to leveler, I have the following: Front: ~4.6 deg of lift + 0 deg cant Rear: ~4.5 deg of lift + ~3 deg of inward cant. When I am out next time, I want to find more finer adjustment with TD3 SW.
  14. UPDATE: I think it was hugely my mistake in terms of the set ups. I feel bad not knowing about setting up the binding for UPZ. I centered the UPZ bindings according to the center line (located on the boots, which I had no idea until couple days ago.....) and voila! Everything is different and feel like I went back to old self with Deeluxe boots. I felt super comfortable and no more chattering, I was able to push-pull harder, tried different set ups but felt comfortable with: Front lift-no cant-57 deg, Rear lift-inward cant-53 deg. Thank you to everyone for their input. Now I am gonna try the samething with TD3 SW and play with stance width and set backs.
  15. I came from Deeluxe boots last year and I didn't even realize that "center tick". It was way off and the center of boots was far more towards heel side. I suspect that it was making it go to heel side more (left turn for me) and have to muscle it. Now the toe block on f2 is all the way forward and the heel block is much forward than before as well. I also dug up thread that was talking about exact same problem below: I guess it is back to drawing board for me but I am gonna try this set up this weekend. I verified that the sole is flat on the floor when legs and feet are straight below my hips. Mine was not centered as I didn't realize upz was so much different from Deeluxe boots. Now the toe block is all the way forward and the heel block is much forward than before as well. I centered it and will try again this weekend. As for outward can't, do you help customers set outward cant for both feet? I just didn't feel quite comfortable with outward cant, maybe now the boot is centered, it may feel different? thank you all for your inputs and i am grasping more concepts!!
  16. yes, it is centered as the toe block and heel block is moved in to fit my upz boots same amount.
  17. Thank you everyone for great inputs!! Can anyone elaborate on why I feel that board wants to turn left (my heel side) and i have to make conscious effort not to do that when I am on flat surface like trail runs/connectors. It only happens with TD3 but not with F2 bindings and they were both on exact same set up (same angle, cant, lift). I am just very curious as I do not know why that is happening....
  18. Thank you so much for your input and much appreciated!! I need to process it a bit and modify.
