  1. Hi guys, thanks for your responses. rolfje_5 at hotmail for pics:p
  2. 3/25 should be fine with me and Bev too. Be prepared guys, Bev might actually be on a carve board instead of her bomber skis! I will have to make her a T-shirt or award "welcome to the knuckle draggers". That is what she calls us.
  3. cool, can you send me pics and $$$ of the Rossi 153 and step-in's. That would be perfect!! (I still have a 162 Mistral Custom for her to eventually play with, 153 is a good start). Do you have Paypal? Would make it easy for both of us. Cheers, Rolf
  4. Hi, still got it? BTW do you have bindings too? Let me know. Cheers
  5. Hi guys, I always miss out on finding any available boards that would be good for my wife on Bomber. I have been riding for ages, but all my boards are way to hard and toooooo long for my wife to even consider trying. So I am looking for a 150's board, ideally a very tight radius so she can just easily learn to carve at low speed. She is an insane skier and she knows her stuff. So crappy equipment is not going to happen for her. She is 5'4", 130lbs (according to her) and very strong. Not one of those salad eatin' chicks. I have bought boards for former girl friends such as "old" Nidecker's and Burton's and had good experience with those. Step-in binding not necessary but would be appreciated in the long run. If somebody is selling a complete set; board, bindings and boots (size 7), please let me know. Cheers!!!
  6. Hi guys, welcome to Bomber. I couldn't agree more with the above! I have been riding since 87 (Burton Cruzer 165, Peter Bauer anyone!!!??? Those were the days) Boots are everything, having your feet hurt after only 30 minutes of trench digging sucks. Once you are dialed in and get the hang of carving you can ride ANY board, at ANY length. My board collection varies from 162 to 195. Have fun, test as much of you can. Nice score on your board BTW.
  7. Here is mine BTW This puppy is just rotting away in my garage. Too many toys, so little time...:(
  8. Thanks guys. Fart can installed for weight reduction, it kicks butt on Mulholland. Downhill that is. Super charger is currently being installed. Winter is coming!!!
  9. Yeah, I guess if we start early we can get a bigger crew on the mountain although we did have a lot of room to play last time......hhhmmm...should we really share...??? Just kidding, the more the better. Everybody was so cool and nice. No grumpy hoydi toidy peeps please. Will bring boom box, tools and 3 boards again. I might have a few European guys flying in too.
  10. Hi guys, summer vacations are all done, nights are cool....you all know what that means!!! Yes, its carving time, yeah!!! Soooo....who can we put on the list again? Yes, somebody is allowed to ride the Coda's this time besides me and Luca. Cheers, Rolf aka Wolfman
  11. This is one of my many canyon carvers. See you on the mountain soon!!!
  12. Hi guyz and girlz, I had a blast at SNES. I know that June is about to close, but I can't make this coming weekend though. Anybody up for the above-mentioned dates? Cheers!
  13. I had such an amazing time. I rode Mammoth last weekend. Lots of wind, but Dave's Run was awesome. I tested the Coda and it beat me up a bit, more about that later. I rode my powder board the rest of the weekend. About to post a new thread to the board for the weekend of April 17th and 18th. Would be fun to see all of you again. Until then. Rolf aka Wolfman
  14. George, sjees..That sucks. Get well soon. What is it with everybody fighting over all these awesome boards??? Chad and George know that I am the only trustworthy person here, HELLOOOOHHH:ices_ange Chad already let me borrow one of his.... Be careful everyone, doing the Sonny Bono is no fun. Here is Bev's.
  15. That board is so mine..... BTW We ended up calling it "The Hammerhead" due to its resemblance to the shark. Chad- I think you will have 2 orders by this summer:biggthump Bev is soo going to kill me
  16. Hi guys, It was absolutely fun. Thanks again Neil and our cool mountain host Carl and the June Mountain team. Thank you everybody for bringing out their good spirits and boards. Luca and I were hogging the "Hammerhead" Coda, I know. Everybody had their fare share in digging trenches on the best in class carving tools. Chad- You are a great guy and your boards are fantastic. Thank you for letting me test the V-2 "fatty" this weekend in Mammoth. Lets hope for deep pow pow. I really look forward to riding with you all again. Gary, Neil, Andrea- I really hope to ride with you this weekend. I will shoot a PM. How do you upload those pics from your hard drive...I always have trouble with that???
  17. About to hop in the car!!! I will be staying in Mammoth too, I can take 3 peeps with me from Mammoth to June in the morning tomorrow and back again in the afternoon, just buy me a beer for the ride. Note we will leave Mammoth at 7 sharp to on time for the lift up with all our stuff. Call me on my cell 818-294-9537. See you all tomorrow!!!! I got the boom box!!!!
  18. I might have to bail on Sunday too:( , but I really want to be there for Saturday. I will also drive up Friday, be there Saturday all day, have few beers and hopefully some bragging rights Saturday night before I return home. Whispering Pines sounds good from a price standpoint.
  19. Checked out June Mountain's website today, unfortunately our event is not mentioned on the site: http://junemountain.com/events/index.cfm Would have been nice. But of course I am not complaining, more fun for the peeps that do show up though. Its a little hot, lets hope snow stays crusty. Most likely a bit icy in the morning, slushy in the afternoon.
  20. Music/ Boom box is taken care off, my old one takes batteries!!! So just bring Ipods or CD's!:D Party on, Garth!!! Let's gods are good to us and give us a fresh layer of snow and sunshine by the time we are there. Any responses from Tahoecarvers?
  21. Definitely hyped for this event!!! I think an Ipod is not a problem, many of us can bring those. Let me check on the boom box. I think I have one that takes batteries, it still has a cassette player too. I asked Fin for some swag for the stand, not sure if any of you already did that though.:D It looks like we have plenty boards to test/ play with. BTW as an addition to the gear swap tools I can bring a piece of carpet for the "assembly table".
  22. My preference would be indeed: 1. Board rack and stand (table) at the bottom of J4. Tools we could potentially bring ourselves( a few power tools, screw drivers, etc.). Little boom box to supply some tunes. I personally have no problem with manning the stand, we can come up with a little schedule spread sheet. As long as everybody is cool, we will all have our fair share of riding. 2. I have a few boards that I am willing to share, but I suggest to keep the driver's license as a security deposit for those who are not "members" of the group. 3. Food, I can totally understand that June wants us to spend money there. All the suggested options as a combo meal deal and a "private" seating area are my picks. To get some food at our stand we can send a few guys or girls down to the Lodge to get some drinks at least. 4. I got some random stickers too, we can also ask Fin for some stuff, maybe a banner for the stand from Bomberonline???
  23. I will be there too. Let me know where I can assist. I will bring my Oxbow World Cup 171, Burton FP 171 and Donek GS 195. I will be staying with my family in Mammoth, but I will be attending SNES 3/27 and 3/28.
