  1. +1 SEJ When the liner is first heated, the gas in the foam expands, and the liner becomes boggy and soft. When it is fully cooled, it will have shrunk slightly from it's pre-molded size. Usually on a good mold, your heel will be locked down, but this will be less because of the flexibility of the soft boot.
  2. - My thoughts exactly!I would settle for just a pic not clipped off the 'net somewhere (ie shot w/ current newspaper frontpage in pic) - that would answer a lot of questions right there... this has troll all over it where's D-Sub when you need him?

  5. on fleabay since there was no interest when I posted them here. Mine are Intuition, not Deeluxe, though.
  6. You might also look at Prior's ATV deck.
  7. you are referring to the 'set screw' for the toe lever? The hole on the underside of the the toe lever for a small plastic screw? you could call Burton Rider Services Dept. and ask them (800) 881-3138 they might send them for free
  8. can you post a review of the 3800?
  9. I love the 'Ask the Seller' question: i'm french, can I buy these bindings? That's unbelievable.
  10. what? no Board Edge 13's? (jk!!) heh heh Welcome to BOL JD
  11. hahahahaha that's f*(#in awesome My vote definitely for these 2!!!
  12. - this is exactly why I was asking! So, the grabby sensation is from the wax being too 'cold' for the sunny snow? And err on the side of warm, and just wax more often? thanks for your great info! JD
  13. What would be the drawback to using a harder (ie colder) wax them the temp might call for? Most of my trips involve a fair bit of driving, so my hot wax goes on a day, a week, before I ride. So there's no way to predict what temp I should use. thanks JD
  14. Those are 'Performance I Plates', circa 94/95 I have a set of Performance II plates, and the owner's manual (which covers both) does not give a boot size range for them. But I think they'd fit a 25.5.
  15. a little unfair to soak up both pairs...
  16. My Intuitions say "Designed in Canada" Ultralon foam is part of Ultralon Products, out of Christchurch, New Zealand, of all places. http://www.ultralon.co.nz/leisure.html
  17. Ok thanks, sounds good. JD
  18. I will happily take the silver pair! They are for SB series, right? Let me know how much cash and karma to send. :) JD
  19. call Burton Rider Services Dept. (800) 881-3138 AFAIK, ask nicely, and they will send them for free. I've gotten a few sets from them. Not sure if this include Canucks... They have a vested interest in riders continuing to use their gear (market share)
  20. POST THOSE PICS !! I, for one, want to see. I've seen lots of "bad" xrays and it's still interesting to analyze the fracture in terms of the forces that we apply to our skeleton. Seriously, I wish you a fast and uneventful recovery. JD
