  1. SOLD Arbor A-Frame freeride / all- mountain snowboard, 162cm. 25.1cm waist. Core is carbon-reinforced Paulownia/poplar, with triaxial glass. Excellent base and edges, and just waxed with all-temp graphite. Has 5 days on it. Easy to ride, but can handle what you can dish out, and equally well on groomers or powder. I rode with Ibex Race plates, a great combo. Will work well with stiff soft bindings. USD $385 SHIPPED in CONUS via PayPal F&F
  2. Backcountry put this board on sale for 40% off so I got the 163. Will follow up with a ride report but first impressions are appealing. It's really light. And pretty damn stiff. I'm 180lb+ so it should be interesting...
  3. Thanks MUCH Randy. very happy with the boots!
  4. That pic is NUTS! That is the polymer dis-assembling itself.... TVR, not sure if your question was for Buell or me?
  5. I follow your reasoning, although my bails were never hard to close. Those 224's were really too soft. In my case, the lower boot plastic has gone crumbly, surely due to age. I have seen other old plastics degrade like this. I did like Burton hardboots a lot, but those haven't been manufactured in years. If Burton were to re-release a medium flex hardboot, I would buy.
  6. Gotta throw a big shoutout to Bachelor local @noschoolrider - for use of boots and we met up to do some runs, which was awesome. Fun to watch him carve, especially the full arcs riding switch. Many thanks.
  7. Randy, thanks for the call. I left you a VM last night. The price and shipping cost are good by me. I'm happy to provide payment whenever you are ready. best, Joe
  8. Great suggestions, thanks to all!
  9. They are ooold. Raichle SB224's. I got them in '06. Not sure model year. Had a lot of good days in those boots, had them dialed in & comfy.
  10. Does anybody know of a hardboot source in Bend, OR? I'm here for the week.
  11. My front boot broke in a semi-impressive way while riding in chunky powder at Mt. Bachelor today. I was heavy on my heelside, and ran through some moguls. Felt a 'snap' in front boot / binding and knew something had broken. Still made a few turns, slowing down, before the last mogul popped the boot out of the front binding. Couldn't get boot locked back in, finally got it lined up and limped down the last few yards. Really glad I was unhurt.
  12. Got some TF on the way! Thanks to the gentleman who responded.
