The only thing that was gonna make this morning bearable when they reattached the leg shackles was an SES update, but I guess everyone's having fun up on the hill. Let's hear it folks! I'm flying in Wed. afternoon and would like a first hand account to torture a few skier friends today.

He's just as wacky as ever. I swear he's gonna keel over one of these days right on the air. The station went through a management change a number of years ago and the let him go. From what I understand, a bunch of people (fans?) wrote letters to the station and he was rehired. He's pretty good with his forecasts though, seems to hit the numbers right and he's a real meterologist (sp?) not jsut a weather personality. Nice call Billy...."Gooooood Eeeeeeeeevening Everybody!!!!" with his arms flailing around, I gotta laugh every time.

Six days baby!! Man, am I getting psyched! I hope I don't get fired from this place for being a shell of an employee for the past couple of weeks... Anybody else staying out in Carbondale?

I just bought one of those things at lunch time today... I got it at a discount/colseout store for $7.00 +tax! Don't know how much you we're gonna spend but if you want one I'll go and grab it for ya tomorrow. They only had a couple of them and the box was a little rough but all the parts are there. I borrowed some skis from the rental shop this weekend too!! My girlfriend is in snowboard lessons right now so I figured if I have to just putt around...I'll go skiing. I was cracking my self up, it was really a lot of fun after not being on skis for 14-15 years or so. I may have to get a pair just for screwing around. It did make me realize how nice it is not to have to carry all that equipment (2 skis and 2 poles) with me.

Hey, I saw you guys running down Eggbeater a couple of times off of the duckling chair. I was on my Speed 178 w/red UPS boots. I'm there pretty much every weekend, working at the Sunbowl chair on Saturdays and riding on Sundays. Say "Hi" if ya get the chance. Rusty (Russ)

Don't know if you booked already but it was cheaper for me to fly United into Aspen than it was to fly to denver only. I got it through Orbitz if that helps.

It's really tough to lose a friend. Sorry to hear about it. This is Abby, She is the best dog I've had the pleasure of spending time with yet. She's got a sweet disposition picks up tricks pretty quickly and never barks. (Yea i know...strange for a Lab, but she never barks.)

I'm trying to do what I can but I only work at the mountain one daya week and they seem to be a little stingy with parttimers. I'm gonna try to schmooze the boss this weekend for a couple but I also have to tell him that I need two weekends off to go to SES. (we'll see if I still have a job) I should be able to get some $25 tickets though.

My trip is booked!! Coming into Vail airport on the 16th, hanging out with you guys for a few days and then a week+ in Utah! BTW...The eagle airport had very good prices and I won't have to deal with what looks like a 5 1/2+ hour van ride from Denver. I booked through expedia and found one way tickets from Boston for $253. Edit: I booked my flight through Orbitz... Flying on United both ways. Boston to Aspen via Denver on the 16th and then returning from Salt lake City to Boston on March 1st for.....$297.40!!! I think that's a good price but I can't be sure. What are you folks gettng there for?
