  1. Does anyone know if they fixed the cuff cant that strips out? I had a pair of old 225s that had a different insert that eliminated the stripping problem. Perhaps they addressed this while working on the buckles? Mark
  2. Anybody need a kidney? I got to get one of these... 2007 Prior PowStick
  3. Careful with these first generation INTECs. The first generation had smaller pins/holes on the heels. I bought a pair used and had to email and call Austria about 2 dozen times to get a set of new generation heel receivers. Once converted, the bindings are great. Just make sure you either have old style heels on your boots, or have access to some new heel receivers. Mark
  4. I think the Gleb has a valid point. Trackies are to Stage Racers as Half Pipers are to GS Racers. It's a different sport, even if it isn't. I wonder who'd win a wrestling match between Lance and Marty N. ?
  5. I'd like to start the spring trading thing. I started with blues all around. Just put red on the toe side of my front boot. So, I've got a spare long red (unused),a long blue (used 3 days), and a short blue (also used 3 days). I'm looking for a short red or two. Shipping of the new Reds from Bomber was $1.75, so the postage should be nearly irrelevant. Mark andersen_m *at* yahoo *dot* com
  6. Sandy, do you have specs on the 06-07 Tankers? How much taper are we talking? Typical freeride 4-6mm or a "Fish-esque" 25-30mm? Probably something in between, no?
  7. I broke one of the plastic "ears" off one of my intec heels after coming up short on a table top and landing on the knuckle. Scared the crap out of me to see part of my setup skittering across the run. The intec pins held me in the bindings just fine as I gingerly rode back to the car and called it a day. These days I avoid the park even though I'm sooooo tempted by her beautiful siren song. It was a crash resulting in a shoulder surgery that turned me on to carving in the first place. If figured that if I wasn't in the air, I couldn't hurt myself....
  8. I've got a 178 Liberation for sale. I'll be at SES Wed-Sat, so you're welcome to take it for a spin prior to handing over the $$$$. Let me know you're interested and I'll bring it along. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=7260 Mark
  9. Bomberonline sold the 99/00 Sims Premium years ago (circa 2001). Here's a link to an archive.org page with the specs... Sidecut is 11m. Board Specs
  10. Brand new Zeal "Link" goggles for sale - $25 + shipping. These have never been used or even had the protective film removed from the lenses. Two lenses are included, one yellow and one pink. There's a case as well. Additional lenses are still available for this model. Check the website below for more info on the Link model. andersen_m *at* yahoo *dot* com http://www.zealoptics.com/eus/goggles/link/
  11. I've got a set of Bomber Splitboard bindings. Can be step ins or bails. Can't help on the split 4x4. I think Fin had about 5 made custom, but I doubt he'll sell you his... :) . However, Prior does have an alpine split (Split ATV) but at a grand, they're a bit pricy. $100 for the splitboard bindings.

    Intec Heels

I'll take em Randy. Let's meet this week sometime...
  13. Rode one as my main pow ride the last few seasons. Has decent taper (6mm?) for a standard shaped board. Floated my 195 (and climbing) pounds very well in west coast powder. I rode it with both softies and plates. I could exceed it's carving limitations even in softies, but that's not really why you're looking at it... I actually would characterize is as "fairly stiff" for a softie board. Not tanker or donek stiff, but much stiffer than a similarly sized Burton Supermodel. I also paid $100 for mine and it was worth every penny. It's pretty beat at this point and has been replaced by a Fish, but it gets some love occasionally when a "quiver challenged" friend needs a powder board.
  14. 45f/40r on a Burton Fish. Same on a Prior PowStick.
  15. RT 173 is sold. Thanks Dustin. $100 is on it's way to perform sight restorative cataract surgeries in the Himalaya. oldkey, thanks for the use of your pic. i was too lazy to dig out my digicam...
  16. I've got a Volkl RennTiger 173 for sale, SOLD Board is in excellent shape. No material base or topsheet scratches. Some discoloration of the topsheet behind the rear binding, but it's purely cosmetic. Base structure is good and there is plenty of edge left. Just like the Osin 4807 I just sold, I picked this up fairly cheap. I'm asking for $200, however, I'm not looking for a profit on the board. So, if it sells for $200, I keep the $100 I paid and the rest goes to charity (www.cureblindness.org). I'll send you a copy of the donation confirmation so you know I'm not pulling your chain. email: andersen_m (at) yahoo (dot) com This is not an actual pic, but it might help determine the age of the board I'm selling. Graphics are the same. If anyone knows the specs, I'd appreciate it. Waist is 19cm, that's all I know at this point. Mark
  17. I've got the coveted longer OSIN 4807 (178CM) for sale, $250. It's the white version with the subtle silver flames. Board is in excellent shape. No material base or topsheet scratches. There is a bit of a rock burr (not a dent, just a scrape) on the righthand edge near the nose, but that is the only flaw. I'll post pics tonight. Here's the catch. I bought the board for $125 from a friend who also got it cheap. Unfortunately, neither of us really liked the ride, so out it goes. I know the board is worth more than $125 (one sold on eBay a couple months back for $300+), however, I'm not looking for a profit on the board. So, if it sells for $250, I keep $125 and the rest goes to charity (www.cureblindness.org). I'll send you a copy of the donation confirmation so you know I'm not pulling your chain. email: andersen_m (at) yahoo (dot) com Mark
  18. Oops, I missed the ski boot line. Definitely preferable to have actual snowboard hardboots. That said, the Burton race plates should have plenty of lateral flex to get the carving idea. Buckle the shin buckles loosely and give yourself a bit of forward flex as well. Soon you'll be hooked and looking for a pair of used hardboots in the classifieds anyway...
  19. I ride my Prior MFR (25cm waist) with plates. 45f/40r puts my 28mp boots pretty close to the edges. Do it!!!
  20. 2006 version is available in the store here on Bomberonline... http://www.bomberonline.com/store/bindings/F2_Carve_RS_Intec.cfm These are great for riding pow in hardboots.
  21. I've got a buddy looking to replace his totally worn out Burton Torques. Size M/L or L would be fine. Willing to pay up for pairs in excellent shape! Mark andersen (at) yahoo (dot) com
