  1. I went with the 4th buckle. Install was easy. I also added the 5 position lean adjuster. Can't wait to get them on the hill. Thanks!
  2. What's the best way to destinkify Thermoflex liners? Can I toss these in a cold water washing cycle and air dry? They need to be remolded regardless, so I'm not worried about fit retention... Mark
  3. I bought a pair of Sz 23.5 Raichle 225s to "harvest" for parts. Now I've got the bare shells, tongues, and liners left over. Again, there is nothing but the cuffs, lower boot, tongues, and liners left. Buckles, straps, hinges, lean adjusters, heel/toe pads, etc. have all been stripped. If anyone needs these, they're free, you pay shipping. Mark
  4. As I recall, the 168 Speed is rather wide (22cm?). That could be a very good thing seeing that you've got size 12 feet. You would have plenty of angle flexibility to start mellow and work your way up... Mark
  5. I'm looking for a bit more compression at the top of my 3 buckle Raichle 123s. I like the softer boots for freeriding, but I was getting a bit of shin bang last season. The 123s have a velcro strap where the 4th buckle would be on 4 buckle Raichles. I'm going to replace them with either an additional buckle or a booster strap. The price would be about the same for the parts or the strap. Install of the booster would be easier. I'd probably need to get a boot fitter to install the buckle option. So, which is preferable? I'm thinking that, given that these are freeride boots, the boosters would be the way to go. A bit more forgiving than a plastic strap, but better than the nearly worthless velcro. Any input? Cheers! Mark
  6. I'd like the AF700s. I sent an email. Let me know how to pay you and what the shipping will be. Thanks!
  7. My feet measure 29.4 cm, and I love my 28.0 225s. I'm even using the standard liners that seem to be less roomy than the thermos. I think that foot volume has a big impact. I have rather low volume feet which probably is why my 29.4 feet fits well into 28.0s. Buy em both, pull the liners out and put your feet in. 1-2 fingers behind your heel with your toes touching the front of the boot is good, 2+ is too big. Good Luck!
  8. The company is in Germany. Go here for email contacts: http://www.snowpro.de/company/who.php3
  9. Fin / Bob / Jack: Does the interface between the Cant Disk and the Center Disk create a wear point on the TD2s? It would would seem that there would be some small amount of movement between the two in relation to the other. Any concerns that over time this will wear down the mating and create lateral play in the interface? Thanks! Mark
