  1. All the bindings & Fintecs are gone. Boots/liners and boards still available. If some enterprising Tahoe local wants a free AM board, sort out shipping & payment with your fellow carvers and then pickup all 4 boards in Truckee for $300.
  2. Looks like the Proflex/F2s are spoken for. Sorry about the no shipping, I just can't be bothered with the hassle. That's why the boards are priced as they are. Ideally someone would show up in Truckee and buy all four boards for $300... :)

  4. I've had a pair of Raichle thermoflex liners hanging around, unmolded, for close to a decade. I might get around to molding them this season. Any reason to think they won't function as one would expect from a fresh pair? Cheers, Mark
  5. Damn, 7 minutes. Must be some kind of record. Should have asked for more $$$... :) SOLD
  6. INTEC heels for sale. Ridden two days. Almost no wear on the treads. Everything it tip top. If you need them, I'll include a set of very lightly used TD2 alu stepin receivers. $50 shipped in the US.
  7. Michelle and Fin, Thanks for many years of great customer service, product innovation, and this wonderful portal where we can come to chat with our neighbors. I had a "customer service" issue with Bomber once years back. Probably my first order from the site. I ordered some ancient closeout Raichle 223 boots for something like $75. The boots arrived at my doorstep and inside there were two left boots and zero right ones. I rang up Bomber and Fin said that the boots were drop shipped from Raichle and that he'd take care of everything. Bomber sent me a return shipping label and overnighted a new pair of boots. However, the 223s that I got were the last "pair" Raichle had so Fin substituted a pair of 225LTDs for no charge. The 225s were easily 2-3 times as expensive so I'm sure Bomber made no money on the deal and probably lost a fair bit. However, they did win a faithful customer. Again, thanks to Fin and Michelle for all they do for us! Happy Trails! Mark
  8. Is the new heel receiver backward compatible with TD2s? I'd love to retrofit my bindings with the new heel receiver. The Alu version never worked as well as those on my F2s.
  9. Hey Kirk, are you in Layton UT or 92010? I'll be in San Diego this weekend and might want to scoop up the board... Mark
  10. True you need a SSN for a 529 plan, however many states allow plans to be transfered among "immediate" family members. So, you can set one up for you and your spouse now and transfer them once your little demons are hatched. :) Please note that this info is dated, I've not researched 529s in a number of years, so it is possible that this loophole has been closed.

  12. Be careful with those first generation F2 INTECs. They got two potential problems. 1) Some had a smaller "INTEC Pin Hole" than is currently standard. You can probably dremel them out, but getting new heel receivers from F2 is nearly impossible. It took me about a dozen emails a few years back. 2) Some of the plastic center disks were made of a hard plastic that was prone to cracking. You can retrofit the bindings with current F2 metal disks, but getting your hands on them is also difficult. They are actually really great bindings if the above issues are addressed or not present. I still use a pair on my Pow-Stick that must be 10 years old. I've got a set of the improved plastic disks that are less prone to cracking. I'll send them to the ultimate buyer for a grande carnitas burrito... :)
  13. My pleasure. Don't wait until the last minute though as you may need to monkey with the screw lengths. I think I remember using 20mm M6 pan head screws, but I cant be sure. Basically you need a low profile head (so the bindings can adjust) but they can't be too long or they will protrude through the bottom of the aluminum slider and interfere with the split mounting system. Obviously too short is a problem as well... :D
  14. Hi Allee, I peeked at your profile and it says that you have a set of F2 Carve RS bindings. The great thing about those bindings and the Voile split interface is that the hole patterns match up perfectly. You can pull the toe and heel blocks/bails off the F2s and mount them right to the Voile slider tracks. You may need to fiddle with the mounting screws, but its very easy to do. The more challenging part is getting the board-mode bindings angles high enough. On my Voile split I can get up to about 39*f and 30*r before serious modifications would be requried to go higher. Here's a picture that is probably worth 1000 words. The aluminum thing is the Voile slider track. While the toe/heel piece shown is actually from a pair of Head INTECs, the idea and hole pattern is the same as the F2s. Enjoy!
  15. Do they look like these? Good freeride bindings for all but the heaviest of folks. Probably not beefy enough for aggressive carving above 160lbs or so, but I'm 180 (and have been as much as 200) and use them on my powder boards with no trouble. http://www.f2snow.com/english/products/bindings/challenge_comp.html
  16. Thanks for the bump DT. Stickshaker, I've got an excellent 178cm Liberation PGS race board for sale. I'm trying to raise money for a pet charity and all the proceeds from this board will go to the Himalyan Cataract Project. Check the details here: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=18078
  17. Yep, I'll be taking offers/bids for another week or so. Best offer gets the board, $$$ goes to charity, tax deduction goes to me. Everyone wins! email to: andersen_m (at) yahoo *dot* com
  18. It's plenty beefy for big guys. I am 185ish and needed alot of leg strength to flex it. Depending on your level of aggressiveness, its probably good up to 225lbs, maybe more. I think it is a 2005 board, but it's been ridden a total of about 3 hours. Outside of some light marks on the topsheet behind the rear bindings, the board is pristine.
  19. Thanks DT, I really appreciate your generous contribution. Happy Holidays!
  20. Anyone, anyone? Come on, its for the kids! Can't believe that 10 year old ultra primes go for this on eBay while this custom race stick with a full race tune can't get any love even when the $$$ is going to charity. NEW OFFER: 100% of proceeds go to charity. Don't be shy folks!
  21. Board is in perfect shape except for a few topsheet scratches on the tail. Race tune from Granite Chief in Truckee. Ridden three hours. Too much board for me. I'll take offers starting at $150, but I know the board is worth much more than that so here's the catch. All proceeds will be donated to charity. (Himalyan Cataract Project http://www.cureblindness.org/) I'll send you the donation receipt so you know I'm not pulling your chain. Don't be shy with your offers, as little as $18 will restore sight in one eye to a *very* thankful Nepalese person. I've done this donation thing in the past and it works well. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=8862 http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=8847 andersen_m (at) yahoo (dot) com tip 24.1cm tail 23.5cm waist 19.1cm sidecut 14M effective edge is 162.4cm (TD2 2nd board kit not included)
  22. Copied from the rad-air website a while back. BTW, that board has the springiest tail I've ever experienced. I popped off a roller the first run out on the board and about killed myself. It launched me *way* further than I expected. Fun board with a nice long SCR. 23. Those SB series cuff cants definitely break, occasionally with disasterous results. I've got 2 screws in my ankle as a testament. However, my bad experience was with SB225LTD, Race Tongues, fixed forward lean, and TD1SIs which was about the stiffest setup one could put together. Now I ride a much more forgiving interface (SB423, soft tongues, BTS, and TD2SI w/suspension kit). I've gone about 4-5 seasons without any cuff cant problems.
  24. Extruded, then sliced like bread, then CNC'd. I think. Ask Fin, I bet he'll know... :)
